There's loads of analysis in these 5 parts, and will be loads more in the future parts. Quick mentions of funny chat surely can't be that bad in between hands ;)
agree. this vid was total crap. laughing all the time... not a single strategy/hand discussion which is helpful
i wanna learn something and not discuss the chat or other bullshit which is not even funny
u get $ for it and i pay $. i expect more seriousness!
cant remember any interesting hand or situation. so i must agree to all decisions bc i'd remember if i did not like something.
i just was annoyed by the chatstuff, laughing etc. this was distracting and not even funny.
if u wanna make a fun vid with jono crute, feel free. but plz not in a mtt series.
you could have talked about other stuff when u weren't involved in a hand.
other players, game flow, general concepts. etc. like it was the case in vid nr 6 with phil galfond. i wish every vid had been with him. its always balsam and enlightening listening to him. there was so much more helpful information in vid 6 compared to this vid.
Lol at people saying the chat ruined the content this video didn't have as many spots but still interesting. Presuming haters are Russian/have no sense of humour.
Hi, at 33:40, you never considered raising A2 to try and pick up the million in the pot? Since €uropean is so wide and the two limpers haven't shown any strength. I'm thinking 800-900k would put some pressure on them.
I kinda like that. I was a little too tight in this period, maybe partially because I know there would be way softer tables if I stayed away from high variance spots like these. Seems like I might've picked the worst option out of the 3 (f c or r) in real time.
At 27:00 you say K9o is an easy call v BTN shove. I think this is a spot I am getting wrong a lot. I get that the math may be close enough, but for like a 1/4th of our stack? Arent we happier maintaining the stack there?
I think in an earlier part of the video you mention that exact concept.. So whats makes this so easy?
this is the nash solution of the spot from a cEV perspective. him shoving 73% and we calling 56% with K9o showing a profit of 54k.
We cant always assume he shoves that much, but when I took it down to a 35% shoving range for him (less than half of nash), we are still profiting 4329 chips (1.5 ante):
23:44 what do you think about the way all 3 players played their hand?
89o shoving flop is to risky?
KQs checks turn behind, would you do that aswell? He can not bluf the river right?
T8s i guess he couldnt played it any different?
I think calling in 89o's shoes is best otf because of my brim lows flat. MBL is uncapped with overpairs etc and will call the shove with some FD's that has 89 crushed too. I think the only thing he folds is hands like the one he has, pure floats.
I actually think QK can bluff the river. He is repping some kind of overpair that decided to check back the ace and now after getting checked to twice feel okay about valuebetting a QQ type of hand and therefore able to add some of these bluffs.
I feel like shoving here is not a good idea.
If we assume that veaaa is a good player even if he got a high 3b stats i dont think he would 3bet light withEuropean on the buttom 60BB stack and also you supposed to be tight from the HJ.
Veeaa got 26BB he cant 3bet with a lot of hands here. He probably know that.
I also think that veaaa as No calling range in that spot just because European will 3bet often or play is position . Can you analyse that spot with Icmizer ?
When he 3bet :
I found KQ is a fold here we should push only this range : (3.8%) TT+,AQs+,AKo
I gave him that 3bet range : 77+,A5s+,ATo+,KTs+,QJs
and i think its very loose . (I would 3bet 99+ AQs+ ; KQs)
You got a perfect analyse of veeaaa and European so we can assume they have a good idea of your image and your range in this spot too. If he know you tight from the HJ He should only 3bet calling you so.. For me it's a good fold.
what I found interesting is that spot is we can only raise fold KQ or maybe 4bet /fold ? .
Because we can't shove and call a 3bet will put you in a very tough spot .
I can't think about folding pre, but this hand is very uncomfortable. What do you think ?
Can you take a look for me please ?

Thanks again great work Espen :)
Why would we check raise in the first hand with 78s (even if we are deep as jono said)

I'd play T8s the same.
