1st hand of the video and 1st hand of the final table.
Is villain rly cold 4bet bluffing more than like 10% of the time here ?
If his value range consists of QQ+/AK, cant we just call in position his 4bet just to realise our equity (hit a pair) on the flop or eventually call a tiny cbet instd of getting it in ?
We have barely 40% vs his value range, facing a big stack, with plenty of shortstacks at the table.
I'm not sure how often he will be light there, but I don't think I can completely discount him 6betting light. I also wouldn't expect him to fold 88 or AJ to my 3bet, and I'm not sure what he would do against a 5bet with those hands.
Flatting his 4bet is also a viable option. The fact that there are a lot of shortstacks at the table is less relevant since almost the entire prizepool is paid out to the top 2 spots, so getting into a big pot against another big stack is as detrimental to me.
Hi Grayson, nice video.I'v noticed you like to keep your HUD simple and check pop-ups when needed.I do so myself. How valuable do you think adding lines like Rfi, Stl/FTS, 3b vs Stl/FStl to 3b is ?
All of those numbers can be helpful, I just don't like having my screen more cluttered than it needs to be, although it is possible that it would be more efficient to have a line with that info rather than having to check pop-ups for it. I would recommend trying it out and seeing what works better for you.
Hey Grayson, good video. On the TT hand where you 3bet nur1k, rdcrsn shoves, then nur1ck calls, i think cold calling the shove is way better than folding. At this stage eliminating a player is huge, and I see nur1ck playing passive postflop w/ the dry side pot and dynamic.
You make a good point about nur1ck likely playing passively postflop due to the dry side pot and fact that we are near a satty bubble. If I am never bluffed by nur1ck postflop, it is a clear call in this spot, since I am getting over 3-1 and will have 26% equity if I give rdcrsn a range of 88+, AJ+ and nur1ck a range of JJ+, AK. Obviously, as it turns out, nur1ck's actual range was much wider that this, making it a bad fold with 1010.

Or am i completely missreading the spot and you can expect him to 4bet a merge value range containing TT+/AQ+ ?
