Good video by the way, loved your paul mccartney impression!

thanks a lot guys!  more coming soon.  for the next series, i was thinking that the consensus leans towards less turbos, and possibly some lower stakes stuff, like big 22 and whatnot.  be sure to post and wishes here and i will do my best to service you in as pragmatic and non-sexual a way as possible.

Hey David, solid video love the sunday live series.

In the AQo hand vs 88 towards the end of the video on the sunday mil, do you ever jam pre once he calls there? I think it's a bit deep but at what stacks would you jam pre once he calls? Do you ever see yourself calling on that flop once he bets or shoving is best? Just curious about this hand even tho it does seem gross like u said.

i talked aobut this one with some friends after, and i reallly wish i had jammed, i still think call is ok and i kinda just hit the wrong flop, as my odds were great...but i think jamming is way sweeter.

Good video. I´d like to see how you analyze any push/fold spot with holdem resources calculator. I saw you have the software over there but never used it, at least in this video series. Maybe if you have less tables at the end of the session you could show your process to analyze that kind of spots. When you deviate from nash for example, and when not..

Anyways, I´ll keep watching !! GL !!

hey david, great work !! im starting to play with a hud for low stakes MTTs (11$ and under).. I see that you have a minimal one set up and I think it would be better to start off like that ,, so what would you recommend? vpip cbet% fold to cbet and 3bet%?

Hey man, with the A8o on 994r, u state that if you get c/r by mcnallyville (20bb BB defend), you will put him all in, is this because you expect to get c/r'd a lot on this type of texture? Thanks

David Emmons 11 years, 4 months ago

ya i mean i expect to get c/r on this flop a lot more than people do.  im pretty sure that people are scared to play back on paired boards bc they think their opponent wont believe them.  im more of the type like i already dont believe my opponent so hard that i dont realy care if he beleives me im trying to get in the last bet.

hey dude.  really like your rationale at 26 min into the vid on the sun $500.  you raise/flat a 3 bet from a tight player in a spot, with AQ.  Your rationale was, I will take a flop and c/r some textures to be AK instead of getting it in, in a potentially dominated spot.   I always thought one level below that in similar spots.  I either fold pre, or flat & check/fold unimproved vs. this type of player.  Thanks for adding another play to the arsenal.
