I would definitely open the 44 in question. I understand your rationale in folding, but in this exact situation I like r/c the 7/6/10bb stacks and folding to Cotchery and the blinds. I think your position garners some respect, at least from Cotchery, so I'd be fine folding to him. I just feel like those short stacks are not getting it in as light as they should since they have no FE and we're still flipping vs so much. I think I'm much more likely to be folding a pair here if there were say 5 12bb stacks behind since it's getting reshoved at a much higher percentage in a spot where I can't call with great equity, but here I think you take it down pre enough to make it a profitable open.
One question I have since observing your game is what is your thought process when deciding to r/c a marginal hand on say a 13-16 bb stack vs it being a clear profitable shove? This may be more of a feel thing, but is it simply what your hand/image is and factoring how wide people will reshove/peel..how deep they are? Like say A9s in HJ on 14bb stack, what are you thinking about? Or AQ/AJ in EP/MP 14bb stack? On FTP table->Options->Badges/Display->Hide badgesand Rounder63 is NOT solid.

Love the live videos, keep them coming.
Re: the key AKo vs AQs hand in 109R.... at the time I believe you were 1st and 2nd in chips with 15ish left, without any battling history with the villian. How happy are you to call 45bbs with AKo there? You need about 45% disregarding ICM, but must need more in this situation(not maths-whizz enough to know how to quantify),even though you'd still have 18bb if you lost. What if stacks were reversed?
What did u estimate his range as?

ps- your idea of neat and tidy tables makes me feel really OCD!

I think you should do it with revealed holecards so you can analyze not just your own plays but everyone elses aswell.

Nice video btw keep em coming.

hey jamie thanks for the questions. i think folding bottom of the range when your ev is bigger than the ev of that play makes sense.  though it is a bit confusing because your overall edge comes from the collection of all edges.  second question a bit vague  but usually b on b im not looking to be too tight though i will tighten off nash a little if my opponent is nitty.  you also make a good point about hurting your utility, i think this is an area that hasn't been fully explored.

David, great content for me as I intend to add MTTs to my CG grind.

One strategic question, not specific to this vid: you often show your cards to your opponents: why are you doing it? Do you feel it gives you and advantage in some way? Do you expect them to show in return? Is it a mark of confidence in your game?

As for me, it seems to have more downsides: for instance final table 109$R, you raise / fold BvB vs Zpaceman and show an A. Will it not make him play better against you? You're basically telling him: I know you're tight, I give you respect and show you I can fold. Then he can play with your head, as you won't know if he adjusts by playing back more using his image, or just keep playing tight and let you level yourself if you're inclined.
