 nice vid

-around 6 min, you choose to cbet/fold AK85double suited, with a gutter and 2 backdoors FD , isnt fine to check back that hand as there lots of good turns to delay cbet or call a bet?

-in the ft, when you 4bet jam 50bbs with 44 , are you jamming  AQ+ as well ?   i see lots of players 4bet/ induce with those big aces in similar spots and i think its a mistake to let players 5bet shove pairs and good equity hands like suited connectors.  on the other side, could be pretty spewy to  always 4bet shove AQ, AK with 40, 50 bbs against aggressive 3bettors... and our  CIB range would be too much waited towards bluffs. what would be a decent "overall"  strategy in your opinion?

Thanks Andrew.  Glad you enjoyed the vid

As to your first question, you might be right.  As there are a lot of wraps that contain a pair or not that he might check raise and not feel comfortable doing the same on the turn.  I guess I feel less comfortable doing so with my short stack size since a lot of the time it means me having to bluff catch the river for a lot of my stack when I dont improve to one of my strongest backdoor draws.  So perhaps stack conservation wise bet/folding flop might be slightly stronger.   Interesting thing to think about there really, as I agree I hate throwing away that much equity normally.

As far as your second point goes, I think its somewhat of an exploitative spot.   Versus some opponents I would most definitely induce there with many A high hands because I feel like their 5 bet bluff ranges would include quite a few Axss hands and say I had AQ like Qxss type of holdings.  Really it comes down to a judgement call when you are deciding your ranges in a spot like this.   So when I am against opponents who lead towards a more battle style preflop approach I will think they are 3 betting to 5bet with a lot more pairs and other hands that they cant really call a large 4bet jam with, thus leading me to do what I did.

Also something to consider is being at the final table, which makes me less inclined to induce at all as  I gain a lot of by not actually being at risk and taking down a large %  of my stack without showdown.

Something like inducing with the stronger of your A high hands like AQs AK, AKs and bigger pairs 88-99+ maybe is a good starting point in general and either widening or narrowing it based on the tendancies of the opponent is the way to go, but that being said you will want to go as wide as inducing with much weaker Ax and 7s vs some very spewy opposition.
