Thank you for the insights, I do appreciate the maths and examples. Especially the last one, w the pair of 5's at the bottom, always thought it was roughly 33% to qualify w a 2-card low draw.

Don't wanna add to your workload, but it would be interesting to see how you would adjust in a live video, or from a playback. Im not too fast on the fly, and making charts for heads up play, or three-way...would be..just crazy in my opinion..especially since ofc seems to change every 6 months or so. At the moment, I'm trying pineapple 4card discard progressive...variance is extremely brutal, and any miscalculation is devastating. In a three way live setting, asking ppl to wait while I "update Twitter" every hard decision...is a sure way to get ousted from the game.

Thanks again.

Glad you enjoyed! I agree it's unrealistic to do math in real time. What I usually do is take screenshots of weird or close spots, make a play immediately, and then figure it out later, often to see if it's interesting enough to make the cut for a video. That helps me improve without making the game last forever. If you do this enough, you memorize more key stats to use in-game. Far more quickly (at least for me) than staring at a chart...

What are the rules of the pineapple 4card discard progressive?

Progressive, as far as I know, is 14-16 card FL, respectively for QQ,KK,AA+. Any remain(quads+ or trips UT) is back to 14 cards. 4 card discard, is use all 3 or two, or none on ur draw, need to discard 4 cards out of 12.

Penny for your thoughts on live play video or recording?

I've done some live play videos on tonybet, and it's fun and easier for me, though I really like making the theory vids too because it helps me understand the math more deeply. With liveplay sometimes takes me a few runs till I get one I think is worthy of publication.

Only issue is for a 2-7 video, the tonybet rules are different than the popular ones used on the app. OTOH getting used to slight rule variations quickly is important.

Thanks Jen, another great video. I think I have been too nitty in some of these spots, which comes as both an incredible shock and disappointment to me. I have a question re: 2-7 unrelated to your video. I am wondering in our initial set up when we should place cards 8-T in the back to keep the wheel draw intact. For instance if we draw 23589 or 23468, do we try to keep our wheel draw intact and place 89 and 86 in the back? What about when we have only 2 wheel cards like 2389T? Thanks in advance. Jeff
