Had a rather long comment on this video but accidently hit the back button, so lost my time stamps and Table #. I will try and sum it up without time stamps below.
1) AhJs on K62r-4cc you barrel turn, but really want a club to barrel turns to block some of the back door floats that picked up equity.
2) 76d UTG RFI 2.2 and hero 3bet 76d SB to 12bb. Are you 3 betting SCs SB vs UTG as an exploit? T9s-54s are pretty close to pure folds vs UTG with a tiny fraction of calling.
3) QQ (no spade) raise UTG, SB cold calls. Flop T62sss. SB donks, hero raises, hero barrels turn 2, and river T6227 go for 1/3 sizing. On a monotone flop raising range should be very narrow to some AsTx, AsAx-JsJx, TT, 66, some flushes, and then mixing some over cards with a spade such as AsKx. Raising over pairs no spade and triple barreling 200bb deep is forcing the action quite a bit. I understand SB is a fish cold calling this spot, but hero is grossly over playing his hand here.
4) Another spot UTG vs BB hero 99 on T65r. XX flop. Turn 5. BB bet, hero calls. River T6554. BB bets, hero folds. Mention AK would make a better call, but it's actually a worse call. Where BB will bluff some 98s type hands, he also blocks your call, fold range. BB bluffs are going to be a lot of K-high-Jhigh hands trying to get you to fold Ace high. Also BB going to bluff some 43s on this river, so if you are folding 99 here (it is mixed 50/50) but calling AK (close to pure fold) you are going to get owned by some 4x as well. Could be some really thin value bets by hands like 76s as well in there. Solver is not betting many 6x here, but would hate to get owned by essentially 3rd pair (76s, 43s, 42s) calling ace high.
5) Hero 88 utg 2.5, Co calls, BB squeezes 12bb. With Co being 76bb effective and only 100bb effective vs BB hands such as 99-55 can just be folded vs a squeeze here. The implied odds are simply not there and with a player behind you left to act that can shove I think this spot is burning money with 88.
In this video I think you are just forcing the action in too many spots, either trying to hit sets vs 3bets, value betting with out blockers, or bluffing with wrong blockers. Would put more consideration on the suits of your hands when value betting or bluffing. Luke Johnson had a great video on this, it is HU, but a lot of the concepts can still apply to six max as well. Will link the video here.
Agree AJo with a club blocker would be best, still PIO like to barrel with my combo (we are not blocking that many flop floats)+ EQ+ blocking KJ + overcard.
14:25 is the AhJs hand. Co RFI 3bb, Hero BU 3bet 9bb.
Looks like you are correct, I thought the suite would play a bigger part in barreling the turn, but maybe that is only for SRP where ranges are wider. 3BP ranges are more narrow, so suites appear to matter a little less. Ranges seems too narrow BU vs CO though. Maybe because cold calling some of these hands.
