I appreciate the mindstate things you went over. I played this weekend and found myself doing things because i thought i was suppose to rather than asking if it was the best thing in the moment.
It's nice to hear from one of the best that poker is hard and sometimes you just gotta guess.
@25:48 sad you didn’t use the cliche “think long, think wrong”. I’m jk but maybe there is something to that? Great video, IMO this was your best video you’ve made since your first. Really enjoyed some of the non-solver nuances you address
It was very interesting for me to see how you quantified the loss in terms of $$$ value. I will be grateful if you can expand on this in its own video or in any of your future videos and teach us how to do it.
It was still the rebuy period so I just used some pretty rough guerilla math. I don't have the specific of the spot in front of me, but generally something like this
100k starting stack, $25k buyin.
At 2k/4k you make a 2bb mistake, 8k/100k x 25,000 = $2000.
Want to clarify this is not super precise, but if you find it useful, great!

For me it's usually "think long and talk yourself into a call" :P
Brilliant! I love your videos!

@5:55 it’s such an under rated and over looked statement.in live environment it’s even more applicable
