Hey nice video.
Hand 3, villain had 17out wrap... Should he have a pair to go with it?
On the solver chart , there is no category for this hand class. I'm really curious if it's a "overbluff"(from solver perspective) or not.
I would imagine this hand would be in b/3b range OTF with BDFD ...

Hey Porshy,

Good catch, you've got a keen eye. I think we mostly want to have a pair to b/3B. That's likely due to the fact that our narrowed x/r range will have gutters or OESD's to go with our two pair or sets. Of course 17 out wraps do pretty well against everything, but we don't want to consistently get it in as a 45/55 underdog. That is especially true when calling is quite a high value option for such a hand.

Hey Cory,

First hand. Solver is bluffing with all its "naked 98" combos that reach the river....what combos of 98 do we get to a river with after the turn pot that don't have other blockers or a pair? Seems very hard to get here with 98 combos that don't have a J (making a far worse bluffing hand), a q/T/7, or a lower straight blocker. I don't see many 98 turn calls by IP on the previous chart, so just wondering what actual combos of that its showing make it to a river to bluff with.

Hi Thallo,

I do think there are some 98 with lower gutters that bluff even though they aren't our ideal bluffing hands. Additionally, on the flop he also bets quite small on an extremely dry board so we're floating our backdoor NFDs and even some K high hands. These are hands that I suspect would get overfolded in practice so it's plausible to say that most humans won't have enough of these hands to bluff river
