Hey guys, I talked with one of the operators of "Phenom" and managed to get RIO subscribers a deposit bonus as well as an additional reload bonus. I'll try to convince them to add something else like a freeroll tournament at some point. I really believe in the site which is why I'm promoting it here. Rake is much smaller than sites like GG (probably 1/10th of the average app game too). It's possible to deposit with crypto, no country restrictions and they're offering all the games. I've personally been waiting for a site like this to pop up. Below is my sign up link if you're interested.
So it seems legit so far. I've played quite a bit on there already and have withdrawn mid 5 figures so I'm confident the withdrawals work. They were only offering polygon for a while which was annoying, but now they seem to have other options.
I don't think the shit coin thing is a big deal. The games themselves are in USDT. You can choose to get your rakeback paid out directly in USDT or in shit coin or a mix of both. Actually, the coin has increased in value as the site has grown so you can choose to leave some in their coin as a bet on the site's future.
Let me just clarify and say that I'm not getting paid by them to say any of this. Students ask me all the time "where should I play?" and I never feel like I have a good answer. Apps suck and have so much cheating, GG has ridiculous rake and there is no action elsewhere and so many country restrictions. Coin is better, but Phenom is still twice as cheap I think.
The KYC reduces cheating, real name tables 25-50+ also reduce cheating a bit. I like the game offerings, they fixed the card sorting (which was a nightmare before) and overall they seem flexible with regards to adding new games. My biggest concern will be security especially with it being a browser based site. They seem to be on top of that based on my conversation with them, but that's what I'll be watching.
Coin is poker better than GG? Hopefully we can get online poker back again so thanks for caring and making a suggestion. I feel like GG is turning poker into a casino game with the absurd rake where only the house wins, and now they bought the WSOP in the u.s. which isn't a great development for poker IMO.
Agree 100% about GG and we haven't even mentioned that they let a superuser run around on their site for god knows how long. I think the rake on Coinpoker is lower than GG and at least the rakeback is consistent whereas GG can essentially turn your rakeback off if you win too much. Phenom seems better than both in these regards
I’m only part of the way through the video, but I wanted to compliment your teaching style* it’s provocative and engaging without making your student uncomfortable it’s really great
*my day job is in teaching graduate students, so I think about how best to do this a lot
Thanks a lot, that's really kind of you to say. I've put a lot of effort into cultivating my teaching abilities over the years. I think a lot of people assume that all that is required to teach a skill is to be good at it oneself. As you'll know better than just about anyone, teaching is an art form unto itself.

Is the reload bonus valid for existing accounts as well?
hey, DM your SN on there and I can ask.
So you consider Phenom legit? Nice variety of games, but what is the deal with involving a new shitcoin?
