Lately plo and mixed tournies that I have played in have had antes. Does this all apply to tournies as well?

I have seen substantial limping occuring at all stages of plo tournies. Do you feel that limping behind with a wide range is best, or should there still be a primarliy iso raise strat being used?

Thanks!

hey,

Depending on the ante size, yes this will definitely apply. The only added wrinkle will be the ICM effects at play.

So in normal PLO, when facing a limp, my rule was to play the same number of hands as I normally would, but to divide the range in half between RFI and limp. So MP limps and in the CO, I normally play 30% for RFI when it's unopened to me. Now, facing the limp, I'll raise the top half of those 30% and overlimp the bottom half. With added antes, we'll need to limp wider. In the same scenario, we might play 40% of hands in the CO, but iso 12-15% and overlimp 28-25%. That's my guess based on the things I've seen so far in the solver.

hi those % RFI and limpings are for 100BB deep right?, any idea when the stacks get deeper, do we want more RFI or limping, or maybe both?

wondering if stacks get deeper, we want bigger size open so lets say 1BB ante but if everyone is like 300BB deep, i dont think we want 50% pot size open but 100% pot. any opinion?
