Chris,

Awesome, thanks 777TripSevens777 !
I will try to create a few more slides in some videos for screenshotting.
Thanks for letting me know and I am happy you enjoyed it.
Do you have any recommendations for being more disciplined at the table?
For example … maybe it’s making a play you know isn’t optimal theoretically in hopes of getting unstuck.
Or when you know your beat but you call anyway. Knowing you should call but deciding to fold in spots you shouldn’t,
Playing terrible right now it’s time to go but you stay,
This is not about discipline.
It is about your emotions.
Emotions are stronger than willpower or discipline, it will overwrite what you do, because you have this deep desire to win or get unstuck and things like that.
It will usually not work all that well to just force discipline yourself to make the right play.
You have to understand and accept the world as it is, you can't just power through, especially when you are beat.
You might be beat only a certain % and the price is not right, but you convince yourself that it is more to give yourself a reason to make that play. Because you are not accepting reality and want to get to your goal sooner and control your way to it.
Poker is about accepting what is going on and based on that make the decisions that work best in the situation.
When you are stuck, you should take a step back and remind yourself that you are stuck and that you are more likely to make plays you would never once in a lifetime make if you are not stuck.
Remind yourself on how to make the correct decisions and how to play your game the best way you can, not seeking a specific outcome, but flowing within what is going on.

Yes, and keeping your emotions level at the table is part of the game … because some things are out of your control!
