Enjoying these PIOsolver videos a lot, looking to start using it myself soon. How would you recommend someone not as familiar with GTO use this program to learn?
You don't need to play GTO, but you need to know how GTO would look like in different spots, and start to build your strategies from there.
You will need to run a lot of different simulations and find out, how often should you cbet in certain spots (then change being OOP, IP; add some combos to you range, add some to opponent, change board a little bit, and see what will change in your strategies).
Also do the same for 3bet pots, for you being cold coller and etc... Really a lot of ways to improve.
Once you start making some general conclusions, start writing them down, and try sticking to them while playing.
In that exact spot i don't think it happens in real life. But definitely there are situations where it's pretty common. For example we cc BBvsSB A2o, board comes Ad7d3s Tc 8d, here vs 3d barrel it would be okish jam. Here we can make opponent to fold his flushes.
Great content Julian. Really helped me understand the right conditions for a x/r river bluff and how it can deter my opponent from making thin value bets. Thank you.

Thanks for the vid!

Will follow this advice for sure!
Thanks for the reply, it really means a lot.
Nice Video!
It is pretty surprising to see that turning top trips with low kicker into bluff. Does it really happen in "real world"?

Uh, isn't the K high flush the nuts on this board? Why would he fold flushes?
Oh, sorry, i meant Ad7dAh Tc8d (cause we were talking about turning trips into bluff)
Julian how did you create the spreadsheet with all the runouts and EVs? is this an option with PIO basic?
Spreadsheet is aggregation report, and yes it' creared by pio basic.
Love your videos, I think they should get more votes. For Essential members, I don't think there's any other content like this on the site...
Thx, a lot.
Hi Julian, In the first simulation why is QQ/KK a better bet/call than AA for IP when none of OOPs XRs include A/K/Q combos?
And how do you run the report that gives the statistics for xr frequency on different run outs please?
