I like the format. Maybe you can find some interesting triple barrels as well.
9:50 if pfr were on the button would you still prefer bb to go polar with his xr? The board is so dry it doesn't seem like there would be a ton of check raising either way.
21:55 you mention that due to the cbet being so small bb shouldn't have much of a donk range due his range being wider and weaker. However, if his range is so much wider and weaker, doesn't that mean he can hit more turn cards and have a wider value range? Perhaps create a somewhat polarized donk range?

Glad you enjoyed, next one is on the 'sickest bluffs' so hopefully that'll be right up your street :)

Would still be reasonably polar, but definitely more strong TP hands in there vs later positions

I'm seriously understudied on large, polarized donk strats so can't help there sadly! My overall understanding is that donking happens when the turn card gives OOP and equity/nut adv, however when the xc range on the flop is so weak it's v hard for a turn card to cause a big enough shift in equities to incentivize a donk bet.
Hi Callum, happy new year! Good content for review, these games have been interesting to watch. Look forward to the solver review, if you get more interesting hands in the future then I would be keen on another similar video. Would prefer the names to included personally, not sure if you can get that into the replayer or not?
Sadly I can't get the names as this was just a vid on their twitter, however I know the players in two of the hands. The J9s vs KQo was ChrisNguyen vs Linus and the KQo vs AQo was Dudd1 vs Linus
Do you know whether there have been lots of hero calls in these games in general? I was thinking that there have been, but my opinion is probably skewed from having just watched 40 minutes of light call-downs.

Callum,
Cool video. Enjoyed your analysis of these bluff catch spots and I look forward to the next one.
Thanks
Glad you enjoyed!
Hey callum wicked video man thank you
Absolute sickness. Taking "all bluff catchers are +EV vs redliners" to the extreme!
Sickness indeed, I’m loving some of the hand histories from this challenge!
I was thinking k10 here as well, we do block kq, what a wicked shove and a wicked call though
These guys are sickos lol.
Gross xr and barrel
Pretty gross call, have to think some of villains bluffs beat our 7 as well?
Yeah potentially, I’m pretty sure the call is losing a lot in The solver but I don’t mind it in practice as it’s v easy for oop to overdo bluffs

Hahaha yeah probably quite skewed indeed! The games are playing v aggressively though so I would assume lots of hero calls happening all the time
Great content Callum! Thanks :)
