11:35 I have always wondered if pio takes into consideration the next street when designing the current streets strategy. It folds a6 and k6 a lot while calling q6 and j6. Normally it is because of blocker effects but here our a6 and k6 don't seem to block any more bluffs than q6 or j6 so perhaps solver is thinking about what our opponent will barrel on river and takes a turn action based on that?
37:25 it looks like we bet tt, 99, 77. These are bluffs to fold out kk and qq correct?
Glad you like the format! Sorry for tardiness getting to comments, plan to get to all recent ones this week.
11:35 - Yes I'm very confident Pio is considering all possible runouts and strategies on those when computing. In game I thought A6 was nice to have since I thought our opponent would bluff a river A often, but solver output seemed to just be a high frequency river barrel on any A-T for IP, and bluffing the air (KQ KJ QJ) a bit higher frequency on the T than the A. Really tricky spot for picking our bluffcatchers though.
37:25 - Yeah those are 100% bluffs, all those hands are worth 0 at showdown according to EV tab here (meaning 100% of hands opponent arrives at river this way beat TT).
11:35: I think thirst hand make more call with Q6, J6, then A6 not because the turn bluffs but because the river bluffs! Note that when T becomes to river, they have to bluff all AX (he only doesnt bet the AX with pair). Probably it's the same with J, Q and K river (he bluffs all AX), and this is more combos.
It occurs because this cards hit this range. See the example with T river: now he has all overpais and AT, KT, QT and JT for value. So, he has to bluff all AX, and you are in trouble, because if you have A6, you block much of his bluffs. When you have Q6, J6 and T6 you block value region and unblock bluff region.
In other river (low cards) the amount of bluffs probably be the same with AX and BrodX like in turn, so considering all rivers Q6, J6 and T6 are betters!!
11:35 - I think what you are saying is generally correct. It's tricky though because on the A IP now bluffs KTs QTs JTs which seems like about as many combos as IP has of AQs AJs A5s A4s to bluff the T with given proportions getting to river. I did notice though that the broadways aren't bluffing full frequency on the A, more like 75% or so, which makes a big difference when adding up KQs KJs KTs QJs QTs JTs all giving up some.
Excellent point re: A blocking much of IP's bluff region on the T. I think that is a big influence.
In hand 3 (4bet hand) where did you take the ranges? I saw the pf academy 60bbs and is so different.
In hand 4: really happy seeing a instructor/coach saying that playied wrong or different that they have to play. Some times we need this to motivate us. Most of people only public perfect played hands, and when solver play differents they only disagree and said that people play different ranges and bla-bla-bla. And i agree with you, Pwndidi series 40bb is fantastic.
Hand 3 - Ranges were purchased from rangeconverter, these ones are 80bb MTT chipEV. I do have a PF Academy subscription also, I generally use that for ICM ranges but curious to see how the chipEV differs now. The hand was played just a few hours into day 1, probably 80-90% of field left fwiw.
Hand 4 - Thanks! I'm a big advocate of transparency and I also try to learn while I teach. I think instances when I make a mistake and find it through study can be some of the best teaching moments. Doing that for a cash game hand review as we speak :)

Nice video :)
Pro tip: when ranges get to narrow like in hand 3 you can tick normalize squares option near strategy ev tab
Thanks for that tip, I always wondered what exactly that option did haha. Will do that going forward.
Very nice hand review!
