Hello Brian,
At ~9:20 Elezra 3-bets a Q up and AhQh in the hole. Does 3-betting a hand like this after a King completes and an Ace 2-bets give away too much information about what we have? I guess we could have 3 queens, QQ, or 3 flush 3 straight, but when Alberto has a hand like he does, our hand is more likely to be QQ or draw. Does 3-betting QQ help us on future streets because we can rep a bigger hand than we have, or does it hurt us more? Do we end up in tougher situation on later streets when villain continues past 5th, even when we improve to two pair? What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks Brian.

I think the main idea of the 3bet on 3rd is to make life very uncomfortable for the K. Dan Zack is going to have to fold almost everything vs this action - in game he folded a 3 flush but I think split kings just need to fold as well (perhaps with an ace he can consider continuing). Getting a better hand to fold a real amount for just 1 extra small bet vs coldcalling is a massive win.

I do think the play also conveys a lot of strength and often induces our opponents to play more passively on later streets as well. We will be in position vs the A on later streets on most runouts so we have the option to take free cards as we see fit.

Great review. Looking forward to more!

In o8, throughout the video players reraised preflop with weak aa including with no low potential. Are weak aa really worth that?

9:30 if eli had a brick kicker should he call or even fold? Vs tighter players should he fold?

33:10 even if kasella had a made 9 i believe he would be an underdog vs any premium low draw that may be out. Shouldn't he check?

Thanks!

Thanks!

O8 - really situation dependent, in a game like this often inadvisable but anytime we have a strong chance of getting HU it's fine. Sidecards do matter a ton of course - AAT9r is very trashy, AAQJss not so bad

9:30 - I think just fold with a bad kicker, certainly rainbow. Vs a very tight 2bettor he can consider folding (AQ)Q but I rarely would, as I stated in other comment above he can get Dan Zack to fold split kings a ton by 3betting here and get HU vs a range that he should be doing just fine against given that he's blocking split aces.

33:10 - Good question here, I think it's close but think the occasional scenario that actually unfolded in hand makes just betting a little better. Even if we get one paired hand to fold and the other (Ben in this instance) catches good and raises us, we still have plenty of hope (see pic attached, used Keith's hand as dead cards and subbed one of Ben's holecards)
