Mixed games videos 2 days in a row? Exquisite joy!
"Improved down" more commonly referred to as "reducing"
Those equities at 25:55 are completely insane but how the hand plays out is bonkers. Note for all of the outs Ben has to complete his hand (9 spades, 4 2's, 4 6's) 16 of them are live against 5 opponents accounting for 25 cards or nearly half the deck! On 6th street he has 4 opponents left and they ALL hit one of his above outs. Regardless he still maintains 41% equity on 6th 5 ways with only the 4th best hand at the time. Shows you how important live cards and big draws are.
Really hope you keep making these mixed game vids!
8:00 I know the median badugi is a q, but generally facing a rasie pre draw wouldn't you be folding rough k, q, j and possibly t badugis? If that is the case, then lehr shouldn't be that weak making what is presumably a value bet with the q badugi by zack incredibly thin and marginal, right?
8:40 raising an 8 high tri seems really loose especially in ep, even mp.
Glad you are enjoying them! Happy to make more if they are in demand.
8:00 I think rough K and Q can fold vs UTG open, J still too good beating a reasonable amount of pat hands as well as draws. Lehr's flat is unconventional and it appears Zack interpreted as weak and capped hence the thin value bet. Definitely quite thin (too thin imo) especially in hindsight seeing that Lehr folded a T lol.
8:40 - Yes I think too loose, Elezra was UTG7, in LJ seems close, HJ clear open.
I just rewatched it a few times and I think you are incorrect - looks to me like he flatted and then after patting behind Dan's draw fired out a dark bet for the next street. Pot size when first draw is getting pitched is $5500, can see the middle.

Yeah that is a really insane hand lol. Unreal that only 1 of those outs is dead. The Ad would give him the best hand for now as well.

The fist hand keith actually 3bets his badugi, graphics are wrong. you can see zack flick in the 3rd chip
