Krzysztof Slaski tests hypotheses on block betting by creating toy games in PIO Solver and tinkering with the inputs to see which factors really matter and when we should be block betting.

Hi Krzysztof, I think not allowing IP to shove when checked to is a mistake in your 3rd model. Block betting will be less appealing for OOP in that model as this will allow the player with the polarized range to get stacks in, which IP cannot do if checked to.

Hey, Nice catch, thank you.

I was under the impression that selecting the "Add all-in" option works for both the raising and betting strategies.

Here are the fixed results:

Which means my assumption was incorrect and there is no correlation between increasing stack sizes and blocker betting frequencies.

Thank you again,
Cheers.

Krzysztof Slaski I think the "Add all-in" option only applies when you are under X% of pot. It was set to 500% in your sim and you are 1000% effective so that's why all-in wasn't an option for solver.

Hi Krzysztof

Always nice with concept videos and you have some interesting ideas here.

Im sure that you have some practical examples in your mind where these ideas can be applied. It might be give basis for a part 2?
