Sick run. Some nice hand reading in the middle , you were really in a good groove.
One interesting spot for topic: how you played the 99 hand differently on stars then on party poker with similar board texture. What would be your explanation looking back?

Thanks!
About the hand could you tell me the timestamp? but I wouldn´t play hands differently if it´s stars or Party. I would play differently if I have a reason to do it against a particular player.

Elias would you ever considering laying down QQ vs his limp/raise bet/ shuv line? Or did his stats have something to do with the call on the river?

Elías Gutierrez 6 years, 7 months ago

It depends, on the river if he is betting JJ+ and bluffs QQ it´s instacall. If I think his range is KK AA and bluffs it´s more difficult because QQ will block more bluffs than TT for example and I am not sure if our call range on the river should be different.

If he is never bluffing and doesn´t have JJ obv QQ would be Fold but I am not folding BB vs SB these kind of situations with no info.

okay cool, i'm really enjoying these ante table games so would be delighted to see more of these kind of videos. especially it being WCOOP, there will be lots of fish joining your 3 handed games ;)

where are you streaming??

Hey man nice video! dont really like ur give up with AQ on party at 10 min mark - I think this is a great bluff combo blocking AK, KQ, AA AND not having spades - if u bet turn MANDATORY river bluff imo ?

Elías Gutierrez 6 years, 6 months ago

That hand could be a very decent bluff yes, I played tight because I was worry he could be a fish or weak reg. If he is playing call too often then probably it´s better to give up.

Also I have 16 combinations of AQ and definetely not more than 10-14 combos of Value so I have to give up some hands, it´s a very difficult spot imo.

Hey good looking, I've got a question I'm really wondering about. You often bet 1/3, but then you sometimes bet much larger on the flop. And I'm not sure if I understand the pattern. Could you elaborate on when it's best to go for 1/3 and when its better to size up.

Cheers, thanks for reading

In some situations you want to bet bigger, for example, playing from Early or when the board has a lot of draws open but not completed.

Besides the theory it´s very important to use balanced ranges, you can´t bet 100% of the hands doing big sizings or it can be costly. Most of the times specially in late we will still have most of our range playing a 30% strategy on the Flop.
