Tom M12 years, 3 months agoAround 5 minutes with 98o - after we c/r and get called, are they any turn cards that come where you just don't bother betting out? The J is nice since we pick up 4 outs but if the board paired or something like a 3 comes off, are you barreling?
David Emmons12 years, 3 months agogood question tom! i would say that it's hard to have a "standard" in a spot where you c/r ace high flops with little to no equity. in general, i think following through with a second barrel is actually quite nice, because people really do fold top pair of aces to multiple barrels through conditioning of losing so many times in the spot when calling. its risky business, and needing your real equity + fold equity equation to add up to "above zero"; obviously having that added real equity helps. to answer your question simply, i believe i would not have barreled had i not turned that 10 percent equity on the turn. thanks for question tom, i love u. david

Hahaha, I love the thought about complex elaborations between KQ6f and KT6f in a world where poker is the most important thing, I can totally imagine that :D :D :D
