Ben Sulsky aka Sauce123 turns to the solver to have a look at a particular hand that gave him fits last session and then dives into some HH's in PIO2 looking for spots where he messed up to explore lessons that can be learned from these EV losses.

Hi Ben,
the 3bet range BVB you used in the first sim is quite tighter and stronger than what most preflop sims suggest and I'm sure you're aware of it. Can you elaborate on what's the reason behind that?

It depends a lot on the RFI sizing used by the small blind and whether they're using a limping range, as well as the rake level of the game (sb plays a lot tighter and more RFI if there's more rake). I may have used an inappropriate range for 500z here bc the sb plays nearly pure RFI due to high rake.
