I dont mean this the wrong way, but it seems in many videos you end up taking a line that you afterwards disagree with. this is actually very helpful for us as you go through the thought process and why you think another action would be more +EV than the line you took. the Pio sims afterwards are then really beneficial as well as the discussions on how population plays and what deviancitions we can do to exploit. Thanks for being honest
Thanks mate. Generally the hands I tag for review for these videos are situations which I tend to have some uncertainties on and figure it would make for good material. So while these lines are certainly +ev, I try to be very critical and squeeze out as much EV as I can in the review.
Do you feel that you get most of your information on population tendencies from playing experience, or do you combine it with DB analysis? If DB, would you mind sharing what you look for?
I use a combination of both. For the most part it is anecdotal, for example I will run a sim on a situation and analysis if population ever appear with bottom of the range as a call on flop/turn/river ect to see if they overfold. I also use DB analysis, so run an "all players report" and assess for example checkraise frequencies, 3bet frequencies, fold to 3bet, 4bet ect and will compare to GTO ranges to see where the variations are occurring and how that may alter my range.
Thanks mate, I think BVB is actually the most difficult spot in poker as people deviate so far from equilibrium in various ways, but also having very wide ranges can make for very complex solutions.
Ah sorry mate, I think I've messed up two of my videos in regards to this (sometimes during recording I have to alter the size of the screen capture as I would be using various programs) Sorry again, I've been trying to keep an eye out for this, but clearly missed it in this video.

I've learned a lot from these last couple videos of b vs b. I know it is something I struggle with at times due to the wide rng nature of the spots.
Just a headsup, the pio sims were not totally in view. I always like to look over the entire sim when they are included in videos.
Thanks Ryan.
