First hand: I would check-raise the turn unless I rolled very low again (like a 10). Generally, when you make low-frequency checks with good hands the plan is to checkraise them.
6:15: Ideally it's better to have no spade or diamond for my bluff catches, but in that exact spot I would still have bluff catched hands with spades/diamonds in them because I think it is so overbluffed.
