Love this series -- its super refreshing to see ACR tournament videos as that's the only site I can play on being from Dallas, Texas. I often feel there's a disconnect between what I see in runitonce videos and the play I see on ACR so I for one would love to see more videos from ACR.
Thank you Staddeca, ACR is really starting to put together a solid tournament schedule and I agree that the level of play is a little different on there. I thought it would be prudent to put together a series to highlight the differences and also put some content out that the USA subscribers out there will be able to apply more directly to the tournaments that they are able to play. I will look to continue to put out more ACR series in the future.
Really interesting flop. My instinct is to bet b/c texture favors our range yet we have SD value. Don't think he has many Aces in his range. Any heart, Q, or K is bad if we check. Also the possibility that if we bet and a heart comes, we can turn hand into bluff. Close spot but it seems like betting might be better vs. random opponent.
Looking back I believe the hand would have been a lot easier to play if I had just bet the flop, so I wish I would have bet around 30% on the flop which would have allowed me to avoid the spot I got put in. As played the hand was very interesting given the way the board ran out.
I'm going to need more info to be able to give you an accurate answer such as: our image, our opponents image, 3 bet frequencies, the position of both players at the table, if we are on any sort of bubble, etc. as all of these factors need to be considered when we are deciding if we want to call off or shove for all of our chips.

Looking back on it, do you still like check?
