Solid vid as always! Boring question but I can see you're playing probably 14-20 tables on any given day (maybe up to 24). How well do you handle missing spots you're not in? I mean, do you basicly consider broad strokes strategy based on HUD+population tendency is enough for early/midgame and you bring tables into focus as a deep run starts happening? In particular, I have no idea how you handle 32red on which your HUD apparently isn't working.
I tend to multitable a fair bit myself, and multiroom, with different structures (FR, SH, turbo, some satellites with different payouts etc). I find playing only one room playing 10-16 tables is fairly comfortable. Playing on three, 10 tables is as draining if not more than 16 on one (particularly ipoker and party which are severely behind the competition where comfort of use is concerned). I think game selection is important, hence the multi-room habits. It's just so much tougher with interfaces varying, auto-focus being weird between softwares, timing out, misclicks, HUD placement on some layouts etc. Any tips on how to play big sessions with maximum comfort would be fantastic... FYI, I currently play on two screens and can display something like 8 tiled + 6 tiled comfortably (I go back and forth on how important tiling is compared to cascading at least some of the games). Again, ANY tips welcome :)
Hi PepeLePew.
I've played multitab/multiroom for quite a long time now so feel pretty used to it without really thinking about the comfort. I think as games get tougher it may be time to cut out a couple and have more focus on the early/mid stages where strategies have changed considerably. It's hard to know how many spots I miss, but do feel fairly locked in to a session so don't feel at much of a disadvantage. I'm also really playing peak tables for about an hour or 2 before the volume is certainly more manageable and I don't often play 6 max as that is near impossible at that time.
I'm still using HM1 which no longer works for 32 red as you mention and recently 888 so will need to change at some point soon but will be sad to see it go as it has coped so well with the multirooms. I have 1 screen for tiling 15 and another for cascading tables that are ugly small (32 red 888) and another tiled row (or 2) at prime time. Hard to give much more advice but hope something in this is helpful. Maybe seeing you can only tile 8 it might be worth getting a monitor with a bigger resolution or making tiled tables smaller.
Cheers
Thanks for the comments/pointers. We've actually played a few times on .fr. I have to admit, it's a love-hate relationship. Love your videos, but stop being to my left! ;)
I play quite a few SH as the offer on .fr is pretty high, fields are surprisingly weak etc. Might be why I feel the need to dial it back and tile mostly. Makes sense that you manage better with a bunch of FR tables. If you want my online handles, don't hesitate to PM me. I know yours, so I'm not against equalizing the information.
Hello paul, i just would like to know with stats do you use in your tracker ? Thank you.
And congratulation really good job ;) hope to see more video from you. i know now you can't play any more the .fr unfortunatly. :( but still interested to increase my game with you. ++
