my few thoughts if you would like to answer to them sometime would be nice
03:29 (TT) - what do you think about xb flop when bord is so dry but his flatting SB range @25bb is pretty much focused on broadways/connectors type hands with would play very often x/r there, so xb evaluate could be better move then b/f imo with such a good hand there where there are so much draws vs guy who have decent c/r percentage he can do balance it much with pure air/middle equity hands and value hands so dont think b/f is best there
03:53 (QJo) - what do you think about iso small like 480-600 vs 22/6 with possition vs weak player i think its gonna show some decent profit there
04:12 (A3s) - after we check/check on flop/turn and villian is making pretty huge bet (2/3pot) how we percive his range and how he percive ours when we xb twice? i think our range is going be focused a lot on aq ak maybe some 55 77 88 a3s a6s (if we have this on our oppening range all the time from utg) but i think we more often cbet this kind of flop with pockets more often then xb twice there so our range should be pretty capped in villian eyes and he can make decision to bet huge turn/river and focus us to fold our AQ AK and weak equity hands like a3 a6 55 on a lot of rivers. When our reggish villian (i think he is reg) see our line and make 2/3bet turn i dont think so there is much value in his range and i see a lot of misses like kq at fd's that hit turn now, with plan to bet bet twice if he started huge on turn. With more value hands i think he would go smaller when he see our range pretty weakish/middle value there. So when we xflop, x/c turn i think we should also x/c river on such a blank card becouse if we call turn once and we don't call riv on such a blank when our villian have very often in plan to bet bet all air now its pretty much burning money to call turn, fold riv i think most optimal line would be fold turn now or check call turn, check/ call riv what do you think?
35:09 (A5s) - shove shoves autoprofit obvious, but i think a bit more optimal move could be 3b/c btn and 3b/f to BB reshove there, what do you think?
Glad you like my videos, sorry it took me so long to get to these questions.
3:29 - Especially against a player like this who seems to c/r flop a lot, I agree that b/f probably isn't best, and checking back is probably the way to go.
3:53 - I agree that I should probably iso here, but I don't folding is a huge mistake, especially with so many players left to act behind me.
4:12 - You make a good point, he very well may be betting river almost 100% of the time he bets turn, so I agree with you that I should be calling river if I am calling turn.
35:09 - I don't like 3b/calling, it allows the button to flat my 3bet, which is not ideal, and I don't think there is much benefit to giving myself the option to fold to the BB.
other than watching vids on here, and playin a bunch of MTTs, what would you recommend for improving ones MTT game? im primarily a cash player but i do enjoy MTTs and think there's alot of value in the live MTT realm (esp during the WSOP and i live in LV now). After some bad mistakes in the events i played thus far this series i realize how much work my MTT game needs. So, if there are any other methods you could recommend or forums to read, specific books you found helpful etc. i would appreciate it a lot. There are just so many resources and books out there that i figure i would ask someone who can offer opinions/recommendations that i value. Great vid, thx 4 input!
I would recommend discussing hands with players whose games you respect, and also messing around with tools like ICMizer and the like. I am not really up to date with what books are good, several helped me when I was getting into poker, but that was 5+ years ago and the game has progressed so much I don't think they would really help anyone looking to get beyond the beginner level now.
Im pretty sure 11:30 $2100 22 against 2,5x by timex is a fold. Even if he minraised probably. Would flat against fish in SM, but not against reg in 2k.
You're right, this is a mistake, and something I have been working to correct recently. I doubt I am making enough money when I flop a set against good regs like timex to make this profitable.
33:55 66 UTG 19 bbs deep in the 2K: Is your plan to fold to a 3-bet? I dont think shoving there is profitable but would u shove 88 in that spot or r/c? Do you even have a shove-range in that spot?
I do not have a shoving range in this spot, in most cases I would be folding to a 3bet, although some players do like to 3bet light in this spot. With 88 I would be r/deciding.
8:50 TT i dont think in turn you have a value bet here him have few worst combos than going to call down you (77,88,A6s sometimes,a9s) I prefer ch/c to induce action for some floats And in river i think i ch/call You dont have some value to jam ¿what you think? :)
I think turn is fine to bet, he is calling with Ax and can have way more 9xs combos than you gave him credit for. There also aren't many draws on the flop so I would expect him to have fewer hands in his range that will bluffing turn than on some other flops.
On the river, he is checking back all the hands with showdown value that I beat, and betting all hands that beat me, and I don't think he will have that many bluffs. If I do check river, I think I have to fold to a bet.
at 12:32 do you ever raise 39s since his range is capped and he never has the flush? Maybe make it 2700. Also do you ever 3 bet pre with 39s in bb vs sb raise?
Like I said in the video, I do expect him to have 9xhh and Axhh, so he can definitely have flushes in my range. I don't think he has enough value hands that are folding to a raise to make this a good river bluff. He could also expect me to turn my weaker pairs (9x, 5x, 2x) into a bluff fairly often which would lead to him hero'ing me on the river.
I do 3bet hands like this some of the time, especially if the SB opens a lot.

are you thinking of doing a review of your recent WCOOP challenge bink? congrats on that btw
Thanks, haven't decided if I will do a video for that yet.
You have to. As soon as I saw that bink, I immediately thought "thats gonna be an epic video" :)
