Learning a lot about playing a tighter more patient and intelligent style from your videos... I tend to press and try to play too many hands especially when I get shorter..your comment about being patient with a 10-20BB stack really surprised me but you're right there is more time than you think. I'm learning to wait for a good spot. We played in a final table yesterday and you busted me but I got to see you play for a while. Tonight I tried to play more like you and won a $3k guarantee which is great for me. Thanks!

I've enjoyed the video and I think you did a good job commenting while 6-tabling which I know is hard.

Humbly I think that on a couple of hands probably your play wasn't optimal ? or at least a bit risky in my opinion but would like to understand your reasoning behind it (for instance jamming with any two against the small blind is debatable imho)  but overall very well played and good video.

thank you

Hey luismat, thanks for the complements. I do agree that some of my plays are risky, and could have played on the conservative side. The reason why I jammed almost as wide as any 2 vs recreational players is because their BB calling range is no where close to the correct nash range making it profitable to jam wider than nash. I hope that makes sense.

Hey nice video man!  With the AK at around 33:40 I think we should definitely consider jamming this turn. I think he has a lot of 66-TT here and even a Jx will be laying down a fair amount of the time given the strength of your line.  You should have at least a few bluffs in your shoving range here and aside from 9Ts and KT (which I'm not sure you'd be squeezing) AK is one of the best candidates.

I agree what you're saying is very interesting and true. At first I was thinking 15 combination of bluffs here is too many combos but that is not necessarily true when we have around 36 combo of nut type hands with a couple very strong semi bluff shoves. We still might want to cut down slightly on the combos of bluffs but the numbers add up to jam AK here. Thanks for your input!

At the 9:50 mark, can you briefly touch on the math of why the 10-8 is a fold and not a jam facing the pot sized cbet?

Also, at the 21:19 mark with the A9ss..if we have the read that the villian is competent, not running 14/10/3, and can have a broadways 3bet range there that is wide enough...from a strategy standpoint, wouldnt we always want to be min 4betting smaller if we think they can never 5bet over our bet lighter with their broadway 3bets?

Or is that too spew because of the times they flat premiums and own us?

the T8o hand just really depends on how much fold equity we believe to have with a jam, and what type of hands call us when we do get called. Versus a pot sized bet on this type of wet board, I believe villain is almost never folding to a jam. Therefore we have to be doing really well versus his range in order to make a jam profitable. If we believe villain is never folding, we need 44% equity versus his calling range. As we include more folds to his range versus our jam, we would need lesser hands. In reality we are closer to around 40%.

The A9s hand, you forgot about villains option to flat. We dont want to be playing a 4b pot OOP with A9s.

Hello Akira!

Congrats on a job well done making this video. You go through spots with logic and reason and it was nicely paced (not too slow, but you did not leave important stuff out).

What is your oppinion on the player pool at 888? How is it different (softer/tougher) than stars at similar buyin levels?
