Hi Chris,
@43:30 with KJ, you 3 bet the button and mention on the flop there's no need to cont bet this hand with 2nd pair, but in a similar spot in a previous video (part 1 @29:30) you had KK on an ace high flop and blocker bet the flop. Basically what i'm asking is why do you differentiate a blocker bet with KK on a93 in part 1 to KJ @43:30, both hands seem similar in relative hand strength with second pair. Is this a mixed strategy or is there an underlining reason?
These are two completely different spots despite the boards both being Ace high.
1) There's a texture difference between A93cc and AJ7hh. AJ7hh is considerably more draw heavy than the other one given the presence of a bunch of relevant gutters (A93 has all the wheel draws but given the action no one really has them).
2) Relative position is different (IP vs OOP)
3) Absolute position is different (CO vs EP instead of SB/BTN)
About your explanation, the fact that as you said, this board on AJ7hh is more draw heavy don't we want to bet since we can get called by those pair+ gutshots and essentially worst hands than ours?
gutters, OESD, 2 overs to the 5 with no showdown all probably get in there at some freq. (like 89o that really wants me to fold some stuff but also has a bit of equity if I call w. 5x or 3x)
6:30 If u have the read on the villain that he doesn't fold as u said on the next minutes, don't u think that betting 1/3 is bad? since he never folds a T or betterr. 34:12 On tu ta tenso shoes do u just cbet range? If not, which check back range of the 2 that u said is better?
I don't necessarily agree with the read that he never folds a T. It's also fine if Im getting him to fold other random pairs and Qxs that beat me etc. It may also prevent me from getting bluffed.
I think this spot should have checking in it. As always, the checking range should be balanced.
Hey Chris
@ 2:10 Not that I mind just shoving with 8s OOP but is it not better to 3b/call and try to induce a light 4bet shove when V has 32ishbbs and has room to recognize false fold equity?
It's close and these spots are really tough to model. My guess is that you're not winning/losing much EV picking the right/wrong option so I'd just do what you think is best and probably not sweat it.
Obviously if villain is a known punter it becomes a clear 3b non-AI and hope to induce some spew but absent that read it's probably close.
Hi! Another great video just a doubt that i had on the hand of the minute 11 , we are facing a weak player and we can extract from Kx and 8x there, and we are also blocking the nuts QK , this is not ok to make the cbet there?
at 28.18 : what are your 3 barrel bluffs here? Are hands like JT/AJ without heart top of your list? Would you be jamming river with Ah8h or Th9h here? Thanks Chris!!
Hi apotheosis,
what hands do you use as the bottom of your polarized 3bet range from the BB? i tend to use hands like 86s and stuff but i see you are just flatting these. Quite interested in wich type of hands you use.
Kind regards

Hey nice video, at 4:25 what are your bluffs in his shoes on the turn? The obvious ones like FDs but what other hands would you pick? Thanks!

32:42 ; what are your bluff jams on this river? Would something like a T7 that blocks T9/97 here be good?
