Last vid ended 4 handed, so there seems to be one part missing?

They posted the videos in the order I sent them so this is technically the next part they've received.

It seems a full video worth of hands is missing so it's possible I forgot to upload one portion or I did and it just didn't get fully uploaded or something of that nature.

I replaced my computer not that long ago and I think I vaguely remember recording this on the old so I have a sinking feeling that portion may be gone but I'll check when I get back home from montreal in a week and forward it to the team if I do happen to find it.

Sorry about that.

Would be great if you could find it or maybe even record it again? I find these situations with icm in play the most interesting, especially cause you don´t get into these situations that often. Cheers

Unfortunately the recording was on my old computer and seems to be gone. I've re-recorded it and submitted it. I'll get them to release the 2nd part of this HU match next because I don't much like the idea of having something interrupt the HU match and then I'll just tack this 4 handed--> HU portion on at the end as a final part.

Nice video. You covered a lot of important HU concepts. I am pretty sure your opponent is or has been a specialist at exactly this format and I have seen him hold the mid to high stakes turbo HU SNG lobbies on stars.

I feel the A3 shove at 27min is very easy to overdo and that the Ah blocker isn't very important since he should 3bet like close to all A8s+ and there are two low hearts. Something like 54 hand is more of the type of hands I'd bluff. Do you have have any thoughts about how not to overdo bluff raising these spots while still having a non zero bluff raising frequency?

28min K8o isn't an open shove before like the 11bb and always a shove at like 9bb BTW

Hey thanks for your post. I wasn't aware tmacha used to be a HUSNG player. It's interesting to me that this is the case because I felt like in this match he sort of had exactly what his bet sizing would indicate and there didn't seem to be much trickyness/many bluffs. Obviously we're dealing with a tiny sample size here even though it would be considered a fairly long HU match so it's possible he just had value regions when I bluffcatched and didn't get deal any of the "funky" hands (or at least they didn't make it to showdown).

RE: 27 mins
As i eluded to in the video I don't think the Ah is a magical key card in this spot (like it might be in PLO for example) and I think there are a bunch of reasonable candidates. (Anything with a heart T+ is probably "fine" I think). The exact EVs of each combo are going to vary but it shouldn't be by a ton (for the most part) and unless you've really trained this exact spot it's going to be pretty tough to realize which ones are > the others. When I got to this spot my general approach was that I needed to bluff w/ something like Th+ at some frequency so I summed the combos that had Th+ in them and figured out roughly how many combos I was shoving then estimated the frequency and rolled for it and just treated each combo as equal.
(So if needed to get 5 combos of bluffs into my range and I had 40 candidates I'd roll 12.5R/87.5F w/ every combo). This has the benefit of not allowing villain to use his own blockers too much (because I'll have a mix of Th-Ah admittedly at slightly different weights) but has the drawback that a few of the combos might be slightly worse on average. (It's possible that QhT does particularly well in this spot and Ah3 does particularly poorly for example). That said, none of the listed hands should be too bad (because there was an initial "screening process" that required any potential candidates to have a high heart for example. Obviously in game theres a bit more estimating going on than there is in this post so I might be off a little bit (which leaves me exploitable) but it's a pretty easy/reasonable approach that is going to have me bluffing at approximately the correct frequency with approximately the right combos. It shouldn't be easily exploitable for too much imo

28 mins: Thanks. This doesn't surprise me. I know K8o wins(I justchecked :D ) and I know this type of hand class "wants" to shove (because it has high equity and bad playability roughly speaking but exact HU strat < 20 bbs is not my forte. It wouldn't surprise me to see this limp/raise/fold or shove (depending what overall strat looks like) so to hear it isn't a shove isn't super shocking.

Quad 7s at roughly 6:25--any merit to CRAI on river? Haven't run the spot so just speculating here. We get a guaranteed bet from all of his Ax (some of which might hero fold vs. this but that's exploitative), and potentially some bets from 86/89/et al that have to continue vs. your b30 turn donk. Also makes sense range wise, no? We get a healthy amount of donks on this particular turn (many of which are bluffs) that don't feel too comfortable continuing on this particular river (e.g. if we have 86 on turn, it can only feasibly get villain off Ax via a massive overbet on river, and maybe not even then, so it likely gives up at a high freq.). All this to say--when we do indeed continue on the river, we're likely exploitably strong in practice.
