As he gets deeper into the match, Phil can start to make adjustments based on some of Jungleman's stats.

@15:00 table 2 QT97ds, if you had 4 bet and been called. how would you proceed on this 8J8r flop?

There would be 5400 in the middle and about 8200 in stacks. I think the best strategy is to bet (call shove) an amount that lets him peel a little bit light and fold to a turn shove.

If we bet 1800 that'll mean 9k in the pot and 6400 in stacks. Hmmm. That's not exactly what I wanted...

2300 means 10k in the pot and 5900 in stacks. I'd go somewhere between these two sizes.

I would like it better if we had about 1-1.5k less in effective stacks. That way we could force light peels on the flop and shove for around half pot on the turn.

On turns that we hit, he will often shove into us. On turns that we miss, we have a lot of fold equity and can pick up that small flop bet in addition to the pot.

Hey Phil, great vid.

Curious what your plan would be on the bottom right table at 31:50 if Jungleman had decided to bet the flop. Naked bottom two on FD boards is usually a pretty weak hand but given his aggression pre and our backdoor Q-hi flush draw, I assume you'd be tempted to call the flop and fold to most turn action?

Thanks, rumnchess!

I agree with everything you said, but I think it's more clear of a call than you're thinking. Folding here would be a big mistake, in my opinion.

It's a tough hand to play, for sure, but we are quite possibly an equity favorite vs his betting range (depending on his strategy), so with pot odds, position, and a bdfd, we can't fold.

Great series Phil. A quick thought/ bit of feedback. Content seems to be heavily weighted towards lots of NLHE tournament,50-500 zoom and reviews. I think more plo zoom 50-500 videos would be great, especially live sessions and core fundamentals/skills needed to be a particular level. Keep up the good work mate

Loved the series! Although I´m 6-max player I`m pretty sure that watching those HU videos can improve everybodys overall thinking of the game. Just love how you analyze different situations.

Hey, do you think it would be a good strategy at 29: to bet 800 with the QQ and occasionly with QTxx?
