At 12:14 on the bottom left table. Whats your move if you get raised? Are you ever checking back there? It seems like a pretty tough decision if raised, villian has 9txx and higher flush draws in his calling range, and you have some semi bluffs in your range.
I call, dont think i check back very often actually even though i dont think its bad at all to do so. Probably he will just raise the flop if he have open ender and a good flush draw so i dont feel super uncomfortable to peel the river if getting raised on the turn.
thanks, enjoy watching you play and listening to your thoughts on the game as you play-
3-4 tables is fine for me as at .50 PLO, people wont be too tricky and there is no need to do deep analysis on hands.
Hi!
Do you never use the HUD or is it just for the video?
Also surely there is no time to take notes when playing 4 tables of zoom - do you add notes later when reviewing?
Hey!
No i never use it actually, i have hm but only for looking keeping track of my results. Dont really feel like i need it. I try to take as many notes as i can even though i dont think i take nearly as much as i should, but mostly i just write it down during the session.
Thanks for the video. I noticed that you play really tight in the blinds. You folded K-8-9-10 to a button raise in the BB, and fast folded some sb A-X suited hands before any action I believe. Do you just want to get to more profitable situations and potentially give up some small EV, or have you had difficulty in these situations?
Im really tight in the blinds yes, i dont think you have to defend nearly as much on plo50 as on higher stakes. But kt98 i usually defend when btn opens for sure. I think sometimes i get carried away when playing zoom and folds too much.
Another question: could you tell us what is a reasonable WTSD and W$SD at zoom plo50? At regular tables this is about 28-30% for WTSD and ~50% for W$SD, right?
How does that change for zoom?
I honestly think that tight is right for plo50 players, its gonna make your life so much easier holding the dominating hands especially on these stakes when some players tend to overrate bad draws. But i dont think loosen up a little would hurt my game that much either, i try do adjust the best i can against different opponents.
Hey Robin,
thank you for the answers!
There was another one that you missed:

Could you elaborate a bit more on why you flatted the (75)64 at ~3:40 from CO facing a UTG open? Seems like a classical spot to either 3b or fold because this hand plays poorly multiway (as demonstrated by the flop spot) and might entice other players to squeeze. Less so on PL50 I assume but still not that favorable either.

i noticed you only really seem to 3bet preflop with aa...does this concern you about players realizing this and putting u on aa?
No not really actually, i think my 3bet range is working out really well for me so not really complaining! :)

I think your preflop hand selection is little too tight.
But, it might be the good video for the starters.
I agree, you play to tight preflop, there was like 10-20 spots where you should steal that you folded.

not a fan of these formats.
I might as well turn of the volume, most of what you are saying is obvious stuff like "this is a decent flop"
That makes sense since u are busy playing 4 tables of zoom and have no time to actually teach.
im here to learn stuff not watch 1600 hands per hour.
I would prefer a video that focus on quality learning content vs lots of content with little value.
Phil has made an excellent review video where everything he said was useful and to the point.
