Hey Innerpsy
12:45 58s when you bet 1/3 pot here would you have another bigger bet sizing in this spot? What hands would you use the bigger sizing for and which hands would you use the smaller sizing for? Also what is the lowest equity hand you would bet for 1/3 pot, like 76o with the backdoor straight draw?

13:20 T8s are you betting 1/3 here with near full range because you have a stronger range? Or is it another spot where you have multiple sizings? How do you build a range for each bet sizing? It would be really helpful to see a video on this, where you talk about how you decide your bet sizing in certain spots and the ranges.

14:20 54s what is the worst hand you would value bet otr here? What sort of diamond flush draws should we be checking back otf?

17:00 76 would it be okay to have an overbetting range ott here? Like KT+?
thank you :)

85s - for that board i dont see any reason to use other sizings, i prob wouldnt go for 100% cbet for that board, but it would still be rather big, any 3 to a straight and 3 to a flush would do
T8s -for 3bet pots it is usually 100% cbet with 1/3 as 3bettors range is almost always strong enough to allow that . Here - same.
54s - lowest should probably be sth like kj . A high fd is usually a decent candidate to have in check back range from time to time
76 - ye, thats great turn for overbetting, but id rather overbet as a bluff with weaker hands than mine (gutshots for example), and with oesd i want to have option to call a raise if he does

hey:)
16:07, table 1, on that turn it seems our range has a lot of draws for betting so I don't think we will receive many folds from our opponent, what do u think about checking back more often?
29:04 table 1, what do u think about his play, it seems kinda thin for value, also blocking your folding some of you FD, leave you with more calling hands... I can't find many weaker hands which are calling this bet than QT in your range especially river 7 improve some of your call-call range like 78, 79, A7.What are your thoughts?

16-07 we should consider betting for thin value here a lot too, our range is still better than opponents and board being drawy isnt a good reason to check back that kind of draw (no sdw one)
29-04 it is kinda thin, though i think it might be ok vs someone who is not tight caller, as there would be a lot of bluffcatchers that a good blockers for his value range, (like my hand, 88 99 T9 etc) and he might be ok with betting that thin. dont think its optimal though vs gto opponent.

at min1 ,. why not 4b to a size where you can rejam over shortstack , to put utg in tougher position
min 12: assuming we wanna have a river x/r range here , is this not a good candidate , which otehr hands have better bluffing potential than this?

innerpsy 8 years, 5 months ago

dont think its relevant that i cant rejam, but i do agree i should have used smaller sizing as i dont have that many bluffs here and for those that i do i dont need to invest that much to succeed.

about min 12 - if thats the T9s hand then i dont think its a good spot, villains range is rather strong here and he will have a tough time folding a lot of his hands like Jx (since he blocks a lot of my value range) and even flushes. but yeah, it doesnt seem that we would have reasonable c/r river for bluff here, and it is basically an exploit play as gto-wise it would be a c/r with that hand and maybe some QTs and Kts as well
