Mark Lammers aka ElusiveMark continues to grind the NL200 zoom pool where he feels comfortable employing an exploitive strategy against most players but reverting to a GTO approach against the few regs in the pool.

Hi there!

@16:00 table 1, what kind of bluffs would you have on the A3ss hand when you XR/B/B that runout? Specially interested on which kind of hands you use to XR bluff that flop.

Hi!
AsQx,AsJx(if we flat that pre) A3-A4 combos and 33-44 are decent bluffs.

River is a high frequency check i'd think vs a competent opponent. In this case i wasnt sure how good our opponent is and decided to jam for value which might be a small mistake.

Love your videos Mark keep them coming!

@16:00 Table 3
it feels abit awkward to me to c/r QJo in that spot, would it be a mistake to just call on that flop? We have Equity/Nut-Equity/Position/Draw disadvantage on that board, we have alot of weak flushdraws compared to villain, feels like we dont want to bloat a pot here.

@39:20 Table 2
I think it's a spot where I tend to overbluff/overstab. Wouldn't it be better to choose hands like 67s, 78s, JTs, which doesnt block villains give up range which include (Axs, AQo+)

Hey thanks!

16:00 Vs small cbets we need to raise a lot of hands to deny them equity and gain some value with these types of hands. It probably is a mix with QJ so no it wouldn't be a mistake just calling.

39:20 The hands you are mentioning are fine stabs. A8dd doesnt't block KJ,KQ,QJ etc that didn't cbet. With some reads on player/ pool tendencies A8dd can swift from either a check to a bet. I tend to think that we see too many x/folds in this pool.

Ben,

I think having 2 sizings here is fine. Bet with a more polar range for 2/3 pot and with a more mergy range 1/3. If we split ranges here i'd prefer having a8dd in the more polar range.

If we face an opponent who has a high x/r we adjust our strategy and bet more polar, vs a player who isn't x/raising often we do more 1/3 pot betting for protection with a bunch of hands.

Hey Mark,

Table 2 4mins we bluff turn and river after 3b pre check back flop AJo on T83ddKx4x you say we don't block diamonds and do block AK. Does it matter that we don't block diamonds when we beat all his diamonds? If our only value bets are KJ-AK seems like we are bluff heavy here betting AJo?

A bunch of hands are being cbet on the flop from our range. I tend to cbet most of my gutshots, oesd etc. So that doesnt leave us with that many bluffs OTR. Hands like A5 that didnt cbet flop often check back turn and perhaps bluff river.

So we are bluffing some of our AJ,AQ combos that interact with our main valuebetting range(AK,KQ,KJs)
