Hi,
at 23:40, bot right table we have JT87 (3 spades) and are bluffing river pot size bet on a A2T K 3 rainbow board.
The question is what do we do with AA/KK/TT/ rarely 22 on this river. Maybe we would like to value bet, but probably not for pot size?
I agree that in practice it feels like betting here pot size with this hand makes more folds.
So whats our plan on the river?
Since in theory makes more sense do bluff with less than a PSB , to add bluffs to our value range which includes sets. Should we have 2 sizinigs here?..
Thanks for reply
It's interesting because when you have QJ, your opponent is more likely to have AK/AA/KK and when you have AA or KK, your opponent is more likely to have QJ.
QJ would like to pot it, but I think the sets (especially AA/KK) run into some trouble with how hard they block AK.
I think that we should stick with one size here. If we do anything to indicate that a certain betting range will include very few QJ combos (more sets), then we open ourselves up to a bluff that is otherwise very hard to make. Even with AQQx, for example, it's really expensive for our opponent to x/r pot (or even 2.5-3x our size) as a bluff. He'll run into the QJ part of our value range often enough to very seriously cut into the profitability of that bluff.
If we have two sizings, and one of them indicates to him that we're betting a range that doesn't include many QJ combos, he can now start raising with a number of blocker bluffs, which will reduce the EV of our non-straight value bets.
I agree completely. I have been noticing that in the past 2 months or so very little content of PLO 6 max mid/high stakes have come up. Maybe Phil needs to hire some more 6max Plo player or get the present ones to produce more content? Don't let NL and Tourneys dominate runintonce please.
True that.
Thats why I've been on elite 1 month on , 1 month off since its not worth to be subscribed 12 months a year.
If RIO was smart, they would seperate teh content pricing.
Meaning there is seperate subrscribtion to Elite PLO Membership
I am sure phil will see this and think of a better solution for PLO. I want to support RIO as its the only site that I subscribe for PLO content so I don't want to do subscribe one month in and one off although I understand your reasoning and it make sense. I am sure if we PLO lovers comment more on this we can come to a better solution. Maybe Phil can guarantee like 3 vids a week of PLO mid/high stakes. What do you guys think ?
Hey, guys. I hear you, and I agree. Lately, we haven't released the amount of HSPLO content that we usually do. I'm sorry about that.
We seek pros year round, and right now we are looking more heavily in PLO pros. There are always swings where we'll have too many of something and not enough of something else, and I assure you that we are always aware of them and we work to correct them.
Pro recruitment is actually quite challenging, especially when you release 14 videos a week. It may not sound that hard, but finding the right people is no simple task. Look at the number of training sites, past and present, that struggle to keep a consistent 5 video/week pace. (This is not at all a critique of them, but evidence of the difficulty. I know how hard it is for them, and they know how hard it is for us)
Sometimes pros quit unexpectedly or disappear for months at a time and we're left shorthanded in one area or another. The life of a high stakes pro can be all-consuming at times, and we understand when this happens, but it does often leave us scrambling.
I don't mean to make excuses. I just want you to know that the ebbs and flows of our video release schedule don't mean that we are asleep at the wheel.
We're actively seeking PLO pros, but if you have any suggestions, know someone personally who you think would make great Elite PLO videos, or you want to be a Run It Once pro yourself - I'd love that. Email support@runitonce.com with the subject: Coaches for Phil
We do have some irons in the fire already, and hopefully will be able to increase our output soon.
In the meantime, I'd suggest running through the list of our all-time most popular PLO videos and watching anything you haven't seen (or re-watching ones you have!).
If you want to take some time off from your RIO membership, I understand. If you don't feel that the EV is there for you, I would genuinely prefer that you wait until it is. I want you, at the end of each month, to feel that you got more than you paid for.
Thanks for taking the time and listening to us. I will definitely keep my membership and watch some of the older content and hopefully sooner rather then later RIO will have some more recent weekly PLO mid/high stakes videos.
Can't wait for RIO poker to happen. Poker Stars comes up with a terrible idea everyday nowadays, its like they are purposely working towards sending all their costumers to RIO Poker.

Your right It's not worth PLO players being a member every month.
More PLO please. Besides phil there hasn't been any highstakes PLO videos. Get jeans89 back!

Ask sauce123 to make a PLO video
This would be awsome
@39:10 KissMyAceplz shows up with t984ccss, which he flatted against conejin_20's preflop open. Do you think that's a reasonable defend in that spot?
