Iain Salter aka Salternator brings you part 2 of his NL50 zoom series. He focuses on 3 betting and squeezing opportunities with linear ranges preflop as well as bet sizing adjustments postflop when playing against weaker players.

Hi, Iain, would definitely like to see a video on PIO node locking or other functions as i’m not too familiar with the software, when we suspect villain might deviate a lot, or has significantly more representation of partial range with certain lines or siziings. I would like to see how PIO maximally exploit that. Thx.

Great Video, At 14.56 you 3 bet 66 btn vs co ? Just wondering if your playing a 3bet or fold strategy vs the field ?
if not what kind of hands are you calling if your 3 betting 66..

I am playing 3bet or fold unless there is a reason to call due to some kind of player type in the blinds or the initial raiser. Its just a simplified strategy thats easy to study using PIOsolver which is how i do the majority of my study!

an example would be a fish in the blinds i would have a calling range.

At 10:10 you cbet 753cc flop in a 3b pot with AK for a little over half pot. I was expecting a smaller sizing like 1/3 on this board. Could you explain the larger cbet sizing?

Hi,

@ 23:30 on the bottom-left table, you 3b 99 on the btn v CO and say that you will 3b/call a reasonable betsize. Do you 3b/call 88+ in that spot or do you also cold call 88-TT in that situation against unknown?

Thanks!

12.30 you cbet AQ on K high board vs 3 players. How often do you expect 3 players to fold to be profitable? If 10 J comes on turn will you be making 2nd barrel?
