Thanks! And to everyone.. if you enjoyed this format of training, I'll be reopening 1-on-1 private coaching in January 2017. If you want to secure a spot, my new mental game training pack serves as the prerequisite to gain eligibility. You can check out more details and free sample videos of that pack at the link below:

YES! This step is so often neglected! People think it's enough to superficially learn the information, but you have to train it too.

Deserves more credit than any other video on the site. Kudos for uploading a unique video that teaches people to think through situations in a logical, coherent way.

Another helpful thing to think about in-game is "where is villain's range concentrated?" - you can think about it in terms of bluffs/value, and at least for me it helps keep my brain alert earlier than needed as to where my hand falls on a bluff-catching spectrum, if that situation arises. And then the other points come in, like - "What sizing did he use otf & ott?" "Is this a typical bluffing spot?" "Where is my range concentrated?" etc..

Nick, guys video is great !
Could someone elaborate on those "mass database analysis reports" ? I mean on video was mentioned that:
- bet-check-bet line mostly used as a value line,
- same for bet-overbet-overbet line

I guess that without lots of info on villian and without being certain about our plan with our hand in some spots, we could rely on those "field tendencies" and that would simplify life a lot
So the question is: how do we make that analysis ? what tools do we use ? can anyone show some examples ?

Great video, using most relevant arguments usually have mind blowing effect.

As for the last hand my initial thought was same that the hero have. But now i think vs opponent who is capable of bluffing with such sizing it should be a call on the river. don't think his flop range has hands like 7s8s or Ks8s, his turn range doesn't have hands like As7s, river he is not jamming 99 or QQ this leaves him with very few value combos and a lot of bluff candidates.

cool video, love the way how you explain your thought process in a very simple yet eye opening way (y). Would be cool if you did a 3bet/4bet or preflop exploitative video

Video is great nick! Defiantly going to incorporate this into my study routine.
I think a excersise like this geared toward a simplified ranging process like you've been talking about, would be great.
Anyway thanks for great content here and everywhere! :D

On the last hand, you talk about hero being uncapped. My initial thought during the drill was that hero is entirely capped at A little given preflop, flop, and turn play. Can a capped range become uncapped on the river? Thanks for the video. Great idea to add clock to away from table analysis.

This is the first time I watch Nick's video and it is definitely really really good and crystal clear. Greatly appreciate.

I really like your style of coaching. Almost bullet point oriented, sticking with logic and breaking down mistakes simply. Impressive.

So, in the last hand, we have to fold right??
I don't understand the last 10 second explained from Nick..
Can you clear me this please??
thank you

The AT hand at the 10 min mark is a clear raise as a default play vs a strong opponent. You deny equity, and get a lot of value, and the opponent has a hard time playing well vs this strategy.

This is probably a dumb question but sometimes you used the term merged [range] and other times linear [range]. I've always used the terms interchangeably, is that correct? Or are you explaining two distinct concepts?
