Curious why you open foled ATT8ccc on the co (completely forgot where in the video it was, but the line up behind you was Lissi Stinkt on the button with 40~bb, and 2 full stacks in the blinds, one of which I think might have been a weaker player).
As for the last question - prefer your analysis videos just because nobody else is doing them for PLO and I like seeing more ways of doing off the table work. Would like to see a PLO version of what LeFort did for BTN SB BB in NLHE...
ATT8ccc is a hand I'll open in pretty much any line up on the CO, so I'm guessing it was just a product of doing a live video while trying to explain my thought process.
Thanks for the videos suggestion. I'll look into the Lefort's videos you've mentioned and will see if I can do anything similar for PLO.
enjoyed the video alot in terms of you explaining your reasoning behind the decisions (prefer the live format to HH review). only thing i didnt like was how it seemed as though you couldnt keep up with the action and clearly explain your thoughts simultaneously. perhaps recording a live session and then doing a video with the ability to pause is a good alternative???
Recording a session of me playing and reviewing it afterwards was my initial plan, but I left it for the last minute and than had some problems processing the video, so decided to record the live video instead. I don't plan to let that happen again nor do I plan to do more live videos (at least for now), as has you've mentioned playing while trying to explain my thought process is not easy.
Yeah, against a reg playing 100bb deep I'd check flop a decent amount of the, and if I did decide to bet I'd check turn most of the time.
Against what I perceived to be a rec player (not rly sure tho), I think that after betting flop betting turn is a must, since a big chunk of his range just improved (Q9,97,QJ8x,KQQx,etc) and thus he'll keep on calling with it, whereas if I check to him he's likely to try to get to SD (and possibly ruin my action on some rivers)
at min ~7.20 you cold4bet A543ds. vs. a small 3bet. You flopped the low flush. How do you approach this hand? Do you always Cbet on that type of flop? What do you do vs. a push with your hand? And how do you play your hand on the turn if he would just called on the flop?
I think this player in particular is a recreational, so I'm not going to be worried about being balanced there. So in this case the best play is probably just to bet like 1/2p hoping to get called by pair/op+gutter/2pair/wrap/,etc. Other option would be to check and try to induce a bet by bluffs, but I think that would work better against a smaller % of recs than just betting out, and since I didn't have specific reads in this case I opted to do the former. Oh I and i'll easily call it off on flop if raised since we have just 1.5psb behind and he definitely could be raising worse than a flush.
If I get called I'll happilly bet AI on the turn (he does have flushes sometimes when he calls, but he also has many pair+draw type of hands that should add up to a lot more combos than the flushes).
If I wanted to be balanced there it really depends of the range I'm 4betting... but if the player in question is 3b wide I'm probably 3betting enough double suited connected hands + AA+ strong KK's that I'm guessing I could just pot there all my range and not be exploited (but I'm not 100% sure about this). Other option would be to pot a part of my range and bet small w/ a polarized range and fold the bluffs to a shove.
At min 24 you call a 3bet with KJ94ss, c/c on flop with top pair and a gutshot, and you turned second nuts when you hit your gutshot.
What would you do if he continues betting on river? I think its relevant that a backdoor flush came on the river and he could be double-barreling here with some AA with the nut flush draw and with the blockers to the nut straight and he could be doing the same on river with the nut flush blocker because his hand on this board dont seems to be good at a showdown after you called twice, and
What would you do if a non diamond brick hits the river and he continues betting?
I like the video but I prefer a sesion rewiew at this same level for the same reasons that mencioned Joseph Calderon.
Answering your last question don't do more live videos with 3 zoom tables on. It's just too messy and even you caught yourself not having enough time to make a decision! If you don't have time to think through a hand to make a decision how are you supposed to have time to explain anything ? Don't get me wrong this was your first video I've seen and I like your game but seeing a video when most explanation goes like: "Here I'm going to fold, oh bottom right checking is fine and folding is fine, bottom left ... " etc. I hope you got what I mean. We can see what you do and verbalizing that is simply not enough! More hand history and anlisys videos please!
Olá André, bom video!
At @9:44 you folded A997ccss in the SB vs a min open UTG and a call UTG+1, is this a standard fold for you?
Or did you make this fold based on a very squeze happy player on the BB?
Even then, you are getting an exceptional price with a hand that plays well multiway, a little less given that you're OOP, but still, definitely worth a call imo.

Is the turn bet at 1:40 influenced by the fact that he was short and seemed a fish?

For some reason i never thought of doing that against anyone, no matter how bad they are :D but i see it worked great for you, thanks :)
thought it was a great video and would love to see more at the 2.5/5 level. Thanks!
Hi bob,
thanks for the feedback, glad you've enjoyed the video! I might do a 2/5 session review in the future.

Hi,
Good questions.

Nice video. I hope you will do more video from 2\5. Its really sad that I am not in this session :(

I agree with Mahowny and Tian. Btw can you explain what bluffs he could have on the river when you call off with trips 4s please (min 32)?
Hi Andre, what is your HUD setup and stats?

Olá Duarte, obrigado.
Yeah, I think that was a mistake getting such a good price.
