Hey Era7er
At 41:35 you say he should be betting bigger since his range should be very polarized, what sizing would you use there? By polarized do you mean KJ+?

47:50 with the pocket 8s what hands would you bet check then raise as a bluff in this spot and what type of hands would you expect him to fold there?

any Kx+ and AQ probably as a range, i mean its not a huge mistake but i think your better of by betting something like 3/4-4/5 of the pot.
yes its hard to find some bluffs in this spot, but this spot really doesnt come up often sometimes im also betting the turn.if i would have to choose some bluffs i would probably pick something like A6 or so

Hey ERA! Nice vid as aways, thanks!

26:20: About the 99 hand.
A) Do you think this is a good turn to lead? It seens to me a quite good card for our range, and our hand worth a value bet on this turn and also need some protection...

B) would it be better if we dont hold a heart to lead this?

C) Do you have A3s and 67s some times there with a weak player on the blind? If you don't, it's prb a better card for villian's range and it becomes less atractive to lead it.

when i started to write, I thought we were on the BB, so we should have 67o, A3o and 63s...this is why I added question C. But I still think it's valueble

a) i dont think its a good spot to lead, i mean depends everything a bit of the range your defending but normally if u defend those mediuam pairs and suited/offsuited broadway u didnt hit that turn card all that often, so definitly not a spot i would lead.
b) no, if we lead we lead our entire range bc of the reasoning that we need either protection or value and we cannot expect him to bet very often (which as mentioned before is not true here i think)
c) with a weaker player i definitly call more hands and 3bet a bit less so yes but still i dont think we should lead

Nice vid regardless of the small lag issues in HM2.
@ 38 mins table 4 AJo as pfr in the squeeze spot: what makes that a XC and
not the KQs vs EP limpraise @ 27:45? Imo villain has more reason to be scared of your range in the AJ hand than in the KQ hand. Also KQ is facing 1,7x pot AI and AJ 2.37x pot, care to develop somewhat on the thought processes?

Thanks!

AJ i think is just a very easy call because its a fish who just called the squeeze, which means his range is in general weaker, includes more drawy hands, more small pocketpairs etc.. so i just check that flop vs weaker player to give them maximum free space with some hands. in the other hand a quite passive players limp/reraise from utg which is quite strong already and then Akx board he hits it quite well, so if hes not the type of guy just limp/reraise TT and then just shove it in now which can sometimes happen of course but the question is how often and he is definitly way more likely to have a hand like Ax and there are not so many draws out given his preflop limp/reraise

haha ty, sometimes i also just mark players who i dont play often with as a weaker player, i definitly have some marks wrong there so dont worry :D
