i choose this sizing mainly bc we are a little bit deeper and i want to get the money in on the turn. so this is mainly bc once i go for a checkraise i want to play a 2 street game
2:00 K8 would you be raising A2s otr here?
3:20 78s if villain had a hand like 9Ts here for whatever reason, do you think he should be calling your x/r?
15:50 A4 would you call flop with the Ace of spades? Would you call all your 9x in this spot?
19:00 JT should we be checking turn a lot here? Since we don't have much Ax or 9x in our range? Maybe 2 combos of ATs and AJs and like 6 combos of 9x max (89s,9Ts,J9s if not 3betting)
thanks
Also I just wanted to say that I love your videos :)
2:00: yes for sure, his sizing seems pretty weak and without information im sure he doesnt have a Kx.
3:20: yeah he has to call one street, i mean i could be bluffing or turning some weak pair into a semibluff or so and sometimes maybe giving up the turn. i mean this spot is pretty rare because most people dont coldcall 3bets so this spot gets played very differently. but i like to put a lot of pressure with a lot of different hands vs these type of coldcalls.
15:50: yes i would either call or even raise all of my A of spades combos, i think regarding his half pot sizing i would also peel all of my 9x for sure.
19:00 thats a good point actually, we dont really have a lot 9x or even Ax, but still we have 88 and people dont really know what our coldcalling range in this spot looks like, so im not betting this spot very often, but i think betting a strong draw like JT still makes a lot of sense. also on the other hand villain should be fairly weak very often given your reasing that we are probably checking a lot of hands back too, so he should not slowplay too many strong hands. also in theory definitly depends if we have weaker players in the blinds, but its better to look at our perceived range which can definitly include 9x than just go from out actual range.
36:20 table 2, you say were going to raise our AQ sometimes here (on AK9.2T, COvs BB SRP) and then say we wont be raising ever. Are you talking about AQ or our range?
You raise 99 A9s/K9s ever in this spot?
40:23 table 3 QQ jamming on river, you say you are very polarized here, what are you using for bluffs? You mention T9s/KQ OTT is that what you will be continuing with OTR as bluffs?
36:20: i think i meant reraising it preflop :) against this very tight guy i would ever raise AQ here i think, against very loose opponents you can definitly do that even on this flop although then again i would just 3bet it preflop. so in this specific spot vs this opponent i would never raise AQ on the flop. a hand like 99 i would definitly raise here though.
40:23: i would most likely pick T9 obv since this hand we always want to bet the turn, and then probably add some bluffs like JT into my bluffing range from the turn on, even KQ might be a good pick to turn into a bluff 4way here, since were not having that many bluffs especially on some board runouts we end up with almost no bluffs if we dont start bluffing some on the turn already.
hey, great video
7:30 table 1, what do u think about rather bluffing Axs hands which missed by the river rather than QJ hands since it is more likely he is checking OTT with AK than KQ, KJ while you are more likely XB Ax FD hands OTT than QJ, JT flush draws, so from his perspective he is more likely to check and bluff catch AK than KQ, KJ which in my opinion makes our bluff less effective. Please correct me if i am wrong...
i dont think he will ever check AK on this turn, there are just too many draws out to be just bluffcatching or slowplaying AK on the turn. so at maximum he will have KQ/KJ from the turn on even if, so the hands i wanna be blocking with my bluff are most likely these type of hands like KT-KQ or even TT-QQ since he can also bluffcatch with those most of the time. therefor my hand makes perfect sense to bluff
