Hey Era7er
13:00 Q3 why the small bet otf? Would you bet any pair here for this size? Or do you just use this size for Ax and bluffs?
18:15 QQ you said you would prefer to call with the diamonds here, do you mean with a flush draw or with just a Queen of diamonds in your hand?
28:00 ATs what's the worst hand you are calling otr here?AT with the Ten of hearts?
thanks
13:00: no im not betting any pair, im just betting this flop wide, but not everything, so the small sizing gives us a better price with a lot of weaker hands, especiall Q3 in this example. so the ev of betting Q3 on this flop with the small sizing is much higher than betting it with a bigger sizing.
18:15: yes i mean with the Q in diamonds, but either way against this small sizing i think its most likely weak in some way and we can make an exploit and 3bet the flop with a hand like QQ
28:00: its a really tough spot, i dont know what hes playing like this, i think he should just use normal sizing in general on this river, so when he bets this big im kinda tempted to think he has it, but i would still call obv with all my flushes, A5/A9 a really close i think, maybe fold them to an overbet sizing, obviously folding AT.
Good video lot of great spots.
Would you do some theory video also in the future? Would be a good change for your followers for example BB defending. As it kind of starts getting old all the videos are 3 table z500 :P.
13:13 A2s Why no call 3bet vs fish?
14:31 A8o "We have good hand to check/call" turn. We want to do that coz we expect villain to bet hands like: T9dd, 98hh, KQ,QT and xback AT-AK, right?
What are your assumptions about villain xback range? Kind of feeling this is board where people cbet high fq so his range should be weak?
24:30 KK Do you bet/fold river? We probable can't expect many xR bluffs, maybe some 87s,76s?
13:13: because hes really tight playing 26/14 and 3bet 2, so his range is probably really tight and im not gonna defend A2s vs this range, although with the small sizing its pretty close but i still think its a fold.
14:31: yes on the one hand, but also on the other hand we dont really get him to fold too many better hands and also we have showdown value. so i rather check that combination and bluff some others.
yes i think he should be pretty weak, but also i have to many better hands to bluff with i think A8 should be a check.
KK: i dont think im gonna fold, we get a really good price and i also expect him to raise most of his sets on the flop and im not sure hes even calling 44-55 there so hes repping too thin in this spot for me to fold KK here i think.
3:55 Againbst Teunuss you defend A4s in mp vs hs UTG open. On the very low card flop he checks and you bet. I'm curious if you think this is a decent spot him to be check/raise bluffing. I have been using this play at full ring tables when i open from ep and i get an mp1 or mp2 defender, and im not sure if its good but i learned it froma good player.
yeah i just called bc of 2 weaker players in the big blind, i dont think the flop is that good for our range, i think its something in the middle, so he can for sure go for a lot of checkraises on that board bc also we want to bet most pairs for protection
do you mind sharing your z500 results for 2016?
also: do you think, the games have improved on average? (you seem to have multiple fish and bad regs on your tables in this vid) i assume it heavily depends on playing times...
in general the games are way better than last year overall, but yeah sure sometimes the games are better sometimes worse, but still overall pretty ok.
im not gonna post a graph or anything, but i have a winrate this year of 2,5bb and ev winrate of around 3,5bb.
prety weak how hard it is to beat z500 nl, if buddy here only has an EV of 3.5bb/100 then i dont rlly see how any average guy like myself would want to attempt a cashgame career.
it is indeed pretty hard these days in nl holdem, but also cashgame has a lot of benefits compared to tournaments, for example short sessions, lower variance etc..
but ofcourse its way easier to make money in tournaments thats for sure :)
