min 17: In my eyes this hand is more then strong enought to raise it utg. Make the 6s a 4s I still would raise it as a standart. 3s becomes a little dicey i think.
With hands like this keep in mind that it´s a big diffrence between A and K high suit vs AKs and 86s.
I use it like this: yellow = reg ; light blue = tight reg ; orange = aggro/3bet happy reg ; purple = weak reg/fish ; green = huge fish ; red = maniac / aggro fish.
I find the colors very helpfull the make quick adjustments concerning preflop decisions. For example if i see a light blue player on the bu when im on the co i quickly know that i can open little wider.
or if im in the sb and i see a purple player in the bb i might just call a raise instead of 3betting to keep the fish in the pot.
mb 2tabling would be a bit 'content-richer', but 3 is also okay (depending whether you planning to concentrate on pre decisions or not)
554r c/f. ~33minute. I see logic in the way you justified the play, but still like betting (both for value and protection) more. we don't have any info here, so I would expect villain to play straight-forward most times, and our cbet would get thought often enough (I mean, we shouldn't care about 'overcbetting' too much)
AA84ss ~125bb deep, really feels like easy 4b here. (somewhere close to the end of the video)
would like to learn more on math and logic behind the call play (use to see it from regs, but myself prefer to 4b being <140bb deep)
the 554: I think youre right and cbeting would have been better against the average opponent.
AA84: It´s not only about the stacksizes but also about the position and villains 3betting range(3,6%). In that particular spot villain has very high risk of running into aces either from me are one of the other players behind him. Given that I assume that he dosent has a hand like KKxx or AKxx but rather a hand that does very well against AAxx and so I feel that I dont really gain much ev by 4betting and getting it in on (almost?) every flop, but it´s definitely a fine play. So I chose to just call which can lead to situations where I get in a lot of money very good, or get away from my hand cheaply if i don´t like the flop. I also like to let my opponents know that I still have aces in my range in that spot. All that said good things can happen ofc when you 4bet and bad things when you just call, like me ending up in a tough flop spot. So I think both plays are fine and I like to just mix it up.
like alot except for some spot here and there, specially overcalling JT65ds on sb its not the best multiway hand IMO and u even flop a flush and say I cant valuebet this and probably not even valuebet a blank river, so what is the plan with this hand preflop at all if we dont even wanna valuebet with it?
I still don´t mind the call. The odds are good plus the bu and the bb look like weaker players and i think the hand has good enought overall to make up for the bad playability.
Good useful video. 7:25: what is Villian has Nut FD and/or a lower set, don't we value cutting ourselfes? or is it because you don't wanna play a big pot OOP with a reletive strong hand that might only be a bluffcather OOP on on the river. What are more c/c calling here on the turn? So he can't just bet when ckecked to on the turn?
I will not have a lot of 54 combos in my mp openening range thats why its hard for me to barrel the 6 turn and so i prefer to chk it it with my whole range.
my actual hand is defintiley strong enought to be valuebetting it but i want te balance out my checking range and if i bet the turn it looks superstrong so i dont expect to get much value.
also i think that he will semibluff very wide or pure bluff with just a 5 or a 4 or the Ah or something.
nice content. Like the stakes you chose. Having the fixed replayer back helps to follow the action. I agree with JimmyGlass, playing only two tables would leave more time for postflop discussion (e.g. more "putting ourselves in villain's shoes" stuff).
51:35 J974ds UTG open; do you generally include these hands (ds 112 gapper) in early positions (for board coverage I guess?) or is it just when the players behind you are tight?
p.s. I would be happy if you could spare a minute to answer my questions on your previous vid. Thx
so generally I try to open as much lowcards in ep as I can get away with for boardcoverage and deceptive value. Playing plo50 I feel like I can get away with much more ofc because ppl dont 3bet a lot and are weaker postflop. On my regular stakes this hand would be a close fold in my eyes becoming an open if I´m on a tight table.
For me it's hard to follow three tables, would really like you playing 2 tables so you have more time explaining the your whole thoughproces during the hand from preflop-(river). Good video thx. keep in coming !
the next vid is still gonna be 3 tables because I recoded it a while ago but the one after that will be 2 talbes again since it seem that many of you prefer a little slower action.
Youre right that villain looks very active/aggressive and I might be too tight in spots like this but my experience is that when weaker looking players donk pot into you they will pot the turn 99% of the time so I decided to let this one go.
47:12: Ok, So hands youre with is basically hands that have decent playablity/bluffabilty vs. MP's range? Are you not concerned to get sqz from the blinds then?
47:12 It looks like MP not have raised frist in, 0 out of 20 oppontunies? if this is true. I guess you raise to minimize SPR IP to make J9Q3ds easier to play, assuming you always call a 4b for mp, right?
I try to 3bet as many hands medium-low card hands as I can for boardcoverage and to balance out my AAxx combos. For that I basically choose hands that have decent equity (~40%) against AAxx so that I don´t mind getting 4bet.
MP actually has raised 0 out of 7 hands but anyways if MP was a very tight player and I´d expect to get 4bet very often the 3bet becomes boarderline but it still ok I think.
And IP raising to minimize the SPR dosent make much sense since were reducing our positional advantage.

bottom left at 9:05, is there any reason not to setmine?
bottom left at 17:01, is this somewhat standard open utg?
hey,
min 9: no. I like a call here.

what does your color codes off the players indicates. I see you mark som off them could be nice to no why

Liked this a lot. Perfect pace and lots of interesting spots well explained.

sounds bad! if you can tell me the minute ill check it out and see if I still like the call or not :)
but I think I used to play a little bit to lose and im currently looking for spots the lower my vpip a little mybe that was one of the spots.
I still don´t mind the call. The odds are good plus the bu and the bb look like weaker players and i think the hand has good enought overall to make up for the bad playability.
its at 28:00 (just watching it too :) )

just replied to your questions on the prev vid.

Hey zuzupet!
thx for the feedback.

Hi, 33:03, why is the AA42 on the upper right table an easy fold? Is call and see what he is doing on the turn a better option? He playes 40/30
Hey ariej,

47:12 upper left table: are you always 3b all hands you wanna play here for isolating HU?
47:12; I cc a lot on that spot too, but that hand is just strong enought to 3bet imo especially against a weaker looking player.
47:12: Ok, So hands youre with is basically hands that have decent playablity/bluffabilty vs. MP's range? Are you not concerned to get sqz from the blinds then?
