34:18 As far I checked the whole line by DEX is congruent with the likely equilibriums from both ranges, blocking 9c should make IP follow through turn less often since it blocks a portion of OOP flop floating region that always folds turn but still fine. For me the 7h seemed a bad card to x/c turn the but the sim have at equilibrium IP slowing down with [T-9]7h combos and the 7h will prevent we not having a heart blocker on rivers that complete a flush. Against this pot-pot line by IP, (since you almost folded Qx7h) what type of factors are you weighting to decide your turn defense strategy to make IP indifferent ?

Really insteresting hand,
loved IP Fcb size as hero has no sets (3b pre, although we have almost every two pair) and he blocks the straight, Tcb gets a bit dizzy and Rcb is a sizing mistake (as you said).

1-Would love to hear your thoughts on hero's bottom defense range for the pot size bet and for the imaginary villain's jam
2-If you were on villain's shoes, would you lean towards a give up or a jam? Haven't runned a sim but he unblocks many give ups on our side ...

Thank you in advance, great video as always

Indeed I almost folded, similarly I was thinking the 7h is a bad card to use in my x/c range, but also gave DEX credit for having a bluff range that was distributed enough where I don't want to play a guessing game wrt which bluff cards to block or unblock.

Against very straight forward players who are using pretty strict randomization by equity (bigger size bluffs tend to be bigger draws), I would fold combos like this and happily over fold as a result. In this hand I tried to stay close to my estimation of optimal.

I'm actually pretty convinced I'm over calling river by using this combo, but haven't run the sim myself either haha - we do have a large chunk of hearts that have to fold, but being allowed at least 50% fold frequency with this sizing and closer to 60% vs allin, I think we will see some QJT9 hands selecting to bluff catch before Q7 or J5/85 for example...

With villain's hand I have what looks like a nut hand for bluffing small, so I'm searching for an excuse to have a small betting range when I have his hand. I wouldn't check no matter what, so if I decide I can't bet small, I would bet big.

Isn't splitting the ranges very unbalanced, once our opponent knows which range we are using for a particular sizing, Can't he exploit it? Also how did you figure from the smaller sizing that undero had moe bluffs than value.

Hi kevin, Amazing video
at 5:30, Don't you think 8 of hearts might be a negative blocker as 810, 89 with 8
of hearts will be high frequency follow throughs, since you yourself didn't expect him to tripple barrel with K high hearts?
Also what do you mean by a hand too strong to bluff? I don't think K high has any showdown EV. Do you mean he should have used a much bigger sizing with such a significant blocker?
Lastly, how often do you tripple barrel with a lone A high blocker? Which all factors affect your frequency.
At 11:02,you briefly mentioned chekraise as an option. Is it to induce buffs? Because Kx two pairs are his only likely valuebets when we check, and having a K just reduces the chances of that bet.
Or a hand like 910 or a10, is a much better check raise unblocking all his bluffs and most value hands? Basically which hands are the best ones for check raising.
Thanks
