ERA7ER fires up three NLHE zoom tables at $2.50/$5. Facing an interesting mix between regulars and weaker players he evaluates when deviating from standard play is good and when it might be an overadjust.

Hi, the hand at 17:25 with Jh9h on 9d7h2c you cbet bigger. I guess it's because you think your range is at disadvantage and you would also not cbet 100% ?

Also the hand at 24:35 when you 3bet KhQh and the board is Th8s4c, you say it's bad for our range. I would have thought it's a good board because you have more overpairs and some Tx. But I think you may not have a nut advantage and also. I would have had a tendency to cbet this board.

Is it because you think the T8x flop hit more the calling 3bet range (JT, QT, KTs, ATs, J9s, Q9s, T8, TT 88 ) than it hit your value range. Or do you consider more that since you are against the UTG his range is stronger and still has overpairs too ?

I would have thought it's a board that does not change too much the equity and the 3bettor having an equity advantage.

Thanks for the video!

no i dont mean its a bad board for our range, its just a board that is not that good for our range that we can cbet 100%. also since were betting then with a polarized range we want to bet a bigger sizing. the preflop raiser/3better still has a equity advantage but not that high like on K34 and other very dry boards.

18:48 QQ hand vs Chinese fish is standard (even JJ, imo), but what's your general approach with some more cuspy hands like 99-TT AQo & suited (or even 88 & AJs if you've seen them do the sort of stuff you explain in the vid, like calling 4Bs ooP w/ random stuff & spewing it off post)? Thanks in advance.

it really a hard decision without any further reads or stats, but when u have a really small sample u can see a bit with the VIP/PFR stats and maybe a 3bet number but u cant put too much into the 3bet number. so normally im trying to make an estimate depending on the stats i have, and rather i play a little bit more cautious when i dont know much, especially ip since the positonal advantage is working for us, and also im being cautious since we already make good ev by playing weaker players postflop since we outplay them basically and this is even easier to do iin positon, so in that case i dont know much i rather play a little bit more tighter preflop especially ip.
