-1:22 u CC 3bet QQ sb vs weaker bn player, he has low 3b but obviously small sample. and we x/c and x/f on 2977double fd. Isn't it kinda weak? I mean we have basically best board ever (no overcards for our queens). What you wanna call here then if you fold as strong as qq? Why you call flop when u xf turn kinda brick? I dont understand whole hand...
It was a combionation of a few factors. His low 3bet%, my strong looking coldcall, and he still double barreling a board that looks good for me. From my experience they are going to have KK+ too often to make this a +ev call turn + call river spot. I know i am folding close to the top of my range but i dont think this type of player is exploiting that.
Hey Mark , min 25:50 can u explain ur Betsize a litte bit more ? What are ur reasons to overbet except that we dont Value bet many combos. Do we have many Bluffs ?
And can u tell me the GTO behind that spot ? Thank you
Usually when we rep a very narrow range for value we want to bet quite large. This is because we don't have a lot of combos to valuebet thinly. As far as bluffs we have the missed hearts which should more than sufficient to balance our valuerange.
GTO explanation:
If we assume that the range of villain consists (mostly) of bluffcatchers and our range is nuts or air we want to bet as large as possible to higher our EV. We can add more bluffs to our range when we bet bigger.
@ 15:22- would this not be a good spot to lead turn for range @around20% pot, we turn a significant range advantage , the A rarely improves him and we would gain some level of protection / value for our range vs some of his hands that would otherwise check back and realise their minimal equity vs us?

Hey Ff,
Nice observation. Yes this looks like a great spot to lead (most of) our range. Sizingwize i think anything from 20% to 50% would be fine.
