Teunuss returns with the webcam and four tables of $500 zoom where he begins with a session review and follows up with PIO analysis of some of the tougher hands.

Hi Teunuss - Excellent Video and Format -

Just a couple of novice questions about the PIO analysis:
a. Are you able to run multiple hands at the same time? Or do you have to run one at a time.
b. On the Kc9c PIO hand, you said the OOP range was PIO approved. Is there a way to access the default ranges for those spots somewhere? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Thanks :)
-I run one at a time.
-I just ran most of the 'standard' preflop situations using the preflop function on piosolver. I don't really know if there is a place you can just get them for free.

nice vid, and good to see in that last hand with the J2dd that villain actually has some bluffs there. Q9/K9 with a club seem like easily his best bluffs. pretty sure he will struggle to find other bluffs that aren't complete air but those combos alone should be enough.

and I enjoyed the pausing of the live footage to quickly run through the PIO sims, as opposed to at the end once you have already kind of forgotten about the hand/ its harder to focus.

Why do you 3bet so big oop?

teunuss 6 years, 11 months ago

I probably mentioned it quite a few times before.
It's the trend nowadays to 3b big OOP, most obvious reasons are: Taking away some positional advantage, and making it harder to 4bet. BB 3b range is pretty polar so it makes sense to size up, I choose a larger sizing for SB play as well for the above mentioned reasons, and there seems to be very little to no EV loss for SB to 3b larger.

as usual...vnvn...QTs Btn v BB Hand analysis is very good and interesting...looking at what BB's bluffs should be atm...

Still GOAT instructor imo...keep up the great stuff

The reason of K9 being a fold and k8 more of a call - imo its the amount of bluff villain has with 9x that u dont want to block those, for ex J9o while he dont have J8o etc...

Cool vid !

@ 15:10 you said 89 always calling the turn for a valid reason to value bet the AJ but the 89 is already a straight :P

Small question: in one of the first hands you consider bluffing A2. But you say you also have all A4 and A5 which have missed and are just A high. If we bluff al those we have already +20 bluff combos. When we add A2, aren't we very much overbluffing?
