Why do u choose 14k into 40k at 15min on 976dd? why is this the preferred size on this board? is this how we size overpairs etc? i feel like we do more chking here so shudnt our betting size be larger, or does it not generally work like that?
when betting i have found this texture to generally have two sizes (1/3 highest ev for middling class of hands and a larger, polar, less frequent size). I also do not think that higher check% ip is always correlated to larger bet size. That said, often times when stacks become more shallow pio starts to prefer the smaller flop size vs a wide bb defense strat. my interpretation is that ip needs a less complex flop strategy to maximize ev with value as spr becomes more shallow
@10:35 you raise 98o over an open from the SB. The sizing you use is 2.5x and is a bit smaller than the 3x im usually using in this spot. Is this sizing smaller than a normal sizing just due to the stacks being smaller? The SB villain has about 30bbs, at this depth is 2.5x ok for a 3bet? at what threshold would we start using a larger sizing over the open?
