At 18.19 you decide not to 3 bet shuv Ducks 30bbs effective. According to my ev calc a 3 bet shuv would leave you with a stack of 80606 (assumed 53.17% open from BU and 8.90% call of 3 bet). Can we really afford to pass up on plus ev spots like this in a tough lineup ?
Hey GOOCHY I agree that shoving the deuces is +ev but it is also quite high variance and given the slow structure of the tournament and the fact that I can win the pot in other ways besides flopping a set I opted to take the lower variance line in this particular spot. I would never say that shoving pre is a mistake, but I also think it is important to factor structure of the tournament, stacks of other players at the table, and also the ability of the players at the table as you mentioned to make the best possible decision about how to play the hand.
I was wondering, in the two hands against 'Breakchips' where he checks and you decide to fire, first with 22 on 8T7s3s and the with TT on Ad7dJ, why it is that you bet around 55% with 22 and around 40% with TT? Maybe to do with wetness, being in position, the fact that ones just the flop and the first one you've already got to the turn?

So I was wodering how do you adjust when you have a top player on your left like PKaiser, do you open less hands? 4bet bluff more...?
