I recognize those player names from America's Cardroom, but the interface isn't an ACR interface so I'm confused about where this came from. Also what was the deal with the video dropping out and flickering all the time? Made it hard to watch.
Sorry for complaining, I did enjoy the video. So how does it work that Poker King and ACR have the same player pool? I see they are both WPN sites, so I guess WPN combines all of their sites into one gaming pool, but I guess I don't understand why.
The A6 of hearts at 26:00 mark or so...Folding the turn seems really tight. You mentioned he's a fish, so I think he could have lots of straight draws or 2 overcard hands that peeled the flop and now are betting cause trips are scary. He might raise some Tx on the flop also. JUst don't understand how we can fold this...
pg_780: No, he's not a fish, the IP caller is a reg with a cold call of 4% on the button. BB is the fish.
I would normally check most of my range against such a tigth calling range (there might even be a bigger proportion of preflop slowplays since there is a fish in the BB), but given there is a fish on the BB my strategy is a cbet for value/protection because:
The reg is going to play kinda straightforward with the fish behind
And specially, because the fish is calling much worse.
This is what makes me cbet instead of check. The value from cbetting is making the reg play more straightforward, and extracting a lot of value and protection from the fish range. Now the reg has called and the fish has folded, and I have an easy check-fold... I got a comment from a friend who also found it tight but also got the hand wrong... but given the fish wide range in BB, against we need protection and we can get some value, cbetting the flop is the best strategy, and now check fold is the only option.
17;43 bottom left from button you fold ( not open/steal J9o?) is this not in your button opening range maybe not aways but versus some nitty/overfold to steal players? )
19;21 the set of 2, you will raise versus most players but not aggro ones ( let them hang them selfs )correct so like 7/10 or so ratio i would assume (player depend) with that said if board is rainbow, how often u will just call versus everyone aggro or normal players.972r.
Great video really liked the A8s vs the fish and 68o at the end.( i also saw the bet sizing on 55 from previous video and got answer for that question :D

You got it right, they do it in order to have more traffic together, it's a deal of mutual benefit between small sites.
Glad you liked the vid! I thought it was my best session review so far
