great vid.

Im trying to break down our river leading range on the last hand with 96cc. Let me know how this looks so far.

If we assume our value range is AK (lets stick with this for the sake of the argument), we will have 12 value bets. If our bluffs are 56s and 67s, we have 5 hands interested in bluffing. With this leading composition, are we not more interested in leading for closer to pot since our value to bluff ratio is close to 2:1?

If we were to choose this leading strategy, how would it affect our c/c range?

56 and 67 are going to be bets some % of the time. So we have less bluffs than you assumed.
The point isn't that though. Fact is AK isn't such a huge value bet (villain can have some A-high flushes) especially with its blocker effects which are already huge and become even worse when we're holding AxKs. So AK doesn't benefit from betting big at all.
As for our c/c range - it's going to be pretty weak but it's going to be so few hands that it doesn't even matter much to this overall scenario. I might even protect it by c/raising smthing like QQ which sounds like very little (1 combo) but it's likely that our entire range is ~5 combos wide.

Makes sense that AK doesn't want to bomb, as we might only be getting called be better. If thats the main point, do we cut down our the times we bluff with 56 and 67, allowing us to pick a smaller sizing? Whats your general plan for doing this in-game?

Jonas Smailys 9 years, 3 months ago

Well yeah, we can't bluff too often with a very small size. In-game I don't bluff this hand or any other 6x at a 100% frequency, I do it at a way lower frequency (33% at most I'd say). When all your bluffs are pretty much the same and you can't bluff them all then all you can do is randomize with all of them at some frequency.
