Looks nice, is that your new office?
And do you think they play more exploitative strategy while playing each other(pretty sure most of them played bunch together and heads up have more room for explo play than 6 max)?

Hey Jeff.

No, I recorded this one at home.

I think it’s fair to assume there’s more exploitative play going on in this HU pools than in 6Max tables, yeah.

Hey Nuno, very nice and instructive video.

Around 20:00, 3bet pot on TT8T, I think OOP needs to 3bet turn very aggressively, leveraging his range advantage and avoiding IP from getting cheap showdowns with medium hands. 3bet shoving seems really undesired on such a dry board, probably losing a ton of EV by wasting one street, so I really like the min 3bet play. This KJ combo seems like a good candidate to me, but I agree combo selection can be quite tough in this spot.

I've studied this situation for 6-max flop play (3bet pot, 100bb eff) on paired boards, and OOP also 3bets small with high frequency, so I thought both spots could relate quite well to each other.

Keep it up!

Thanks Flemeth! Glad that you liked it.

Completely agree with you. I really like Iimitless play as well and 3Bet shoving makes no sense to me neither when his range is very polarized and needs no protection with his value hands.

For sure, even though HU ranges are wider I think the concept still applies on this specific scenarios. Thanks for pointing that out!

Nice one Nuno! It's always inspiring to see and analyse what the best in the business are up to ^^ Could throw in a quick pio at the end for one of the spots but that's just a suggestion I very much enjoyed it anyway's!

Thanks Bingo. Glad you liked it!

I agree with you but I decided to not use PIO at all on this one because I saw a few people complaining about it being used in pretty much every single video of the site lately.

Bingo 123 5 years, 4 months ago

Yeah I understand that's fair enough
I thought the AJ hand was quite interesting @ 11min

PIO (with my probably sup optimal ranges) is taking this line but not a too high of a freq

I think it's quite dicy can we go for 3 steets with this hand in the first place and if not do we want to go bet check/call rvr or check turn and bluffcatch ?

Expoitatively should we do something like this:
vs sticky regs bet turn ?
vs rec's bet turn
vs tighter regs check ?
vs reg's/rec's who overbluff check to induce bluffs ?

Thoughts ?

Thanks for the insightful comment!

As I said on the video, this turn spots tend to favor the IP player so OOP is supposed to be playing very passive. His specific combo having the Ac can never be too bad to put into a narrow betting range if you wanna build one though.

I think exploitatively vs sticky regs and recs we can bet turn but against almost any other player type we benefit more from checking. Even against average recreationals I think we prefer to check and define their range before keep putting money into the pot.
